tolerates cold and heat, disease resistant
One of my favorite roses. An odd color combo but then I like odd-colored roses. Bred by Dr. Griffith Buck of Iowa to survive Iowa winters, "Buck" roses do equally well in the hot south. I grew Distant Drums and other Buck roses when I lived just east of San Antonio TX Zone 8b. Now in Huntsville AL, zone 7a, I still grow Buck roses with equal success. They are disease and pest resistant, also. Many commercially available Buck roses rate 8.0 or higher ("very good" to "excellent") by the American Rose Society.

Super healthy plant.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. I've had the bush for a little while know and it is happily thriving.
