I managed to cut 2 sheets at a time by first cutting them roughly to the size of the die and placing them on top of one another. It cuts neatly and cleanly. It is soft felt and not very thick. I am very pleased with this and I prefer it to the flat A4 and 12\" ready cut sheets. The roll saves a lot of waste and works out much cheaper too. It is also convenient buying the felt like this as you can choose the colours you want or need instead of the mixed pack, often there are colours that you don't require. The colour brown that I have is a nice chocolate brown colour.
