50 Things to Know About Getting Free Stuff to Review
This is a book that was definitely written for a beginner blogger. The name is misleading because it gives you more information about blogging and networking than actually giving you the tools and links to really getting people to give you products for free or at a discount to review. The book is very short, and you can sit down and finish it in no time. Any seasoned blogger or someone who has been doing product reviews for a while will more than likely find this book somewhat boring, but it could possibly work for someone who is looking into starting a blog. This book is listed on Amazon as free for Kindle, so it's not a waste of anyone's money.

in a nice concise guide
As others have noted, the information in this guide covers everything a beginner would need to know, so it might seem a little basic. But the title doesn't claim that this is for experienced reviewers, so I'm not sure why someone would be surprised to find basic information.Although I've been reviewing for years and have more recently gotten into reviewing free and discounted items, there's always more to learn and there is something to be said about getting the perspective of an experienced reviewer, in a nice concise guide. I like being able to refer my friends and acquaintances to this, since it sometimes get tedious to explain and re-explain the "how to get started" part.I was able to read this book for free as a member of Kindle Unlimited.

For beginners.
Great book for beginners who are looking to get started reviewing on a blog. Doesn't apply to my situation but had some great tips for beginners. Recommend for someone just starting out.I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review.

We reviewed this book on our podcast
My son and I reviewed this e-book on episode 8 of The Free Stuff Show Podcast. Rather read the entire transcription here, you can hear it on iTunes, Blubrry, com or Stitcher Radio. You can also here it on [...] . Unless you are getting the book free, I highly recommend you listen to our review of 50 Things To Know About Getting Free Stuff To Review BEFORE you purchase it. For full disclosure, we each downloaded a sample of the e-book, which at the time was $2.99, and when we went back to purchase the item so we could review it for the show, it was $0.00, so we each received a copy of the entire e-book at no cost.We both received our copies free, but as far as I know no one was expecting us to review it. The book just happened to be free at the time we went online to purchase it.

How to set yourself up on a blog and get exposure.
Tells mainly about what is needed about setting up a blog and marketing yourself in order to receive free items to review. Gives a couple of websites for people to review items received free. Other than that, there is not much information to find the companies that give away products besides writing, emailing or calling them and letting them know about your blog and media kit. Your can just as easily contact companies and ask if they have a program for new product testing that you could join. There are some companies that do which are looking for people who fit certain criteria. Really, all you can do is ask. This book, however, deals more with setting yourself up on a blog and getting exposure.

Full of excellent ideas!
Very informative book! As a fairly new blogger, I needed some ideas on how I could get products to review and try to monetize my blog. I am very excited about implementing these tips!

Good, short explanations of getting started for beginners.
Good for beginners, but for those folks already with a blog and working with a company here and there, or doing Amazon product reviews, not very helpful.

How to be a reviewer
This is a short but comprehensive look into ways to review item for reward. I read it to find out how to get samples for free, but instead discovered the work of a reviewer. Excellent advice for anyone wishing to go down this road
