Three M 3M Medical Tape Microfoam Elastic Foam 4" X 5-1/2 Yds NonSterile (1528-4, Each)

This is the same tape used for securing chest tubes. It’s excellent and very stretchy so you can use to secure anything in place.

This stuff is awesome for those areas where nothing else sticks. Not even tegaderm would stay because walking caused the covering to move out of place. I used this tape to keep the dressing on an open wound in place on the inside of my thigh when all other adhesives failed. It stretches and contracts with body movement without pinching and pulling the skin when placed properly. I did wrap the tape 3/4 way around my leg at an angle to keep the walking motion from rubbing the edges loose and having everything fall off.

This is by far the best medical elastic foam tape I have used. I've tried a couple different brands and types... even other types by 3M and they just don't stack up. I like to use this tape in areas where some flexibility is needed and since the foam tape has some stretch to it, it remains comfortable all the time. Other brands have caused skin rashes, either from the glue or the lack of flexibility... not this particular tape.

My husband had bladder surgery that left a catheter in it for the a while. This is the same tape the hospital used. It sticks very well!

I purchased this tape to put around my hubands leg before a shower to seal the bag in his leg for a shower. Not only did it do that exceptionally well, when removing from his leg it left all of his hair on his leg. Couldn't ask for more.

This stuff is great for post surgery bandages that need replacing. You get a decent amount for a great price. Definitely recommend. Don’t stretch out then apply to skin though. It will wrinkle up with skin if stretched.

This is quality foam tape period.
