A solid pair of pruners are an essential gardening tool to have, regardless of your skill level or frequency of use. There are many to choose from, including multiple sellers for the same product. In my experience, performance & durability are key. These bypass pruners are of good quality at a great value. They are sturdy in their construction but lightweight in use. The blade is very sharp & makes clean cuts. I'm a female with small hands & find these easy to use, even though, they can open wide enough for large hands. I especially like that they have a 1" cutting capacity, which is hard to find at this price point. Their locking mechanism is simple & secure, as long as, you push the ball up or down "fully"...listen for the click sound to know the ball is properly in place. Overall, I'm definitely pleased with the durability & performance of these pruners. I also love the look of the wood-like finish over the cast aluminum handles. I highly recommend these pruners & this seller.

I've had many shears, cutters, pruners over the years but this tool is the best ever. Heavy duty and can cut through some thicker branches. They are very well made and they come with an extra spring. After 12 months of daily use these Pruners I have to sharpening only once and continue to be very sharp and shine considering how many cuts were made. So well made and put together, sharp clean cuts, easy to clean after use. I will buy them again. They're a great value. Thank you.

I’ve now owned this same set of pruners for 5 years (first purchase date was August 2021 and it’s now March 2026). I came back to order another pair since my husband ran over his pruners with the lawn mower - whoops ha! The pruners he had bought cost 3 times the amount of these pruners, and I felt that they both worked exactly the same. I felt no difference in the comfort of the handle or the ease of the spring. Mine have outlasted all other pairs I’ve bought and I continue to love using them. I’ve had other pairs that lost the spring quickly or the spring wore out over time or never functioned properly. I’ve never had that issue with this set. This past year I finally noticed them beginning to dull which I thought would happen much earlier on. Thankfully my mother-in-law knows how to sharped gardening blades and will sharpen these now. To have them stay sharp for so long was a very nice surprise though! I don’t do gardening professionally so I’m not using them daily, but I do have a very large yard and prune everything from super thick rough branches down to soft delicate stems. It has worked well for virtually everything I can fit in between the blades. One small thing to note is I don’t like the color. I originally loved the wood look of the handles because I thought they would be pleasing to the eye if hanging in a garden shed or mudroom. Now I’ve realized this is a terrible color as it blends in with everything in my yard and I loose them all the time in the soil. If I were to purchase again I would definitely choose a bright orange or red.

As a floral designer, i was looking for something econmical but also something that cuts really well. These are nice and sharp, so I'm pleased with these clippers as i use them every day. They are a bit heavy And took some getting use to with my smaller hands, but overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

I expected these to be pretty good based on the other reviews but I didn't expect them to be of such excellent quality. Wow, I really love these things! I have small-ish hands and they still fit well and are very comfortable. I was shocked at their weight, they're heavy; not as in "too heavy" to be a burden, but heavy as in they feel very well made and substantial. They cut like a dream. The faux wood grain is just an added aesthetic bonus that I can't stop admiring. Ordering on line is always hit or miss but these are a definite hit. I'm thinking of ordering an additional pair just because.

Bought a number of these. Only because I loose them on the job sometimes. Great quality. Spring strays in and locks for safety. Also a value.
