I bought this chair for my grandfather to sit in after he gets out the bathtub for safety. Price point is Good! Quality feels good not cheap not flimsy. I sat in it to see if it was comfortable>YES IT IS! So much so I purchased a 2nd chair for our living room for his physical therapy because the chair is sturdy with grips and adjustable legs so it will be perfect for his PT as well. Not just good for the bathroom> multi use!! Also building it was pretty easy, just focus follow the direction, the frame has letters on it to match up with the other parts so once you get past the different directions at the beginning ..smooth sailing..

A must have for post surgical procedures. Light weight and waterproof. Easily fit in walk in shower and just the right height (adjustable height) I used after a knee replacement and this chair is sturdy and stayed in place. Easily assembled. The chair has sturdy arms to grip for standing up.

This is a great quality item. First, it was easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long at all to assemble. The quality itself is really good. All the pieces fit together as intended and the chair is very solid and sturdy. And this items goes way beyond a basic shower stool or chair. It's a level bench. I've seen some of these that have a bench that curves slightly upward in the middle which creates not only an awkward seat, but it adds the possibility of the user sliding off to one side. To add to the level seat, it has arm rests. And they are padded! This is great for those needing the extra security of holding on to something as they sit down or stand up. And it also has a full backrest. This chair has everything and more that is needed for a safe shower seat. The height can be easily adjusted and it has rubberized "feet" to minimize if from slipping on wet surfaces. The chair is easy to clean and very portable to move in/out of the shower. I'd most certainly recommend this item for anyone in need of the assistance it provides.

Nice shower chair. Today I received my shower chair, after unpacking and removing all the plastic material and tape I got ready to assemble it. Opened the instructions and reviewed. The instructions could have been written in fewer words, but I understand some people may need more. Anyway, it went together pretty easy. Tip don’t tighten the screws down until it is complete assembled then tighten them all down. I am 6’ 2’’ at 214 LBS. and set the height adjustment to the highest, once I sat in the chair I was able to lower it by one hole. Took a shower, it’s nice to take a longer shower without worrying about falling over. Over all so far so good, seems sturdy enough. If anything changes I will update this review.

Good product light weight so dont lean back or be cautious. I use it to shower with my broken ankle. Took one side arm off to ease my way in and out of my bathtub.

I used to have just a simple shower bench. I much prefer this shower chair! It has arm rests and a back support, both of which I now need. It is very comfortable, too.

I recently broke my ankle, and my therapists recommended that I use a shower chair. After driving myself crazy, I finally decided on the stool type to save space. There are so many to choose from. We measured the floor of the shower to be 30" x 22" pretty much. I am also a stroke survivor and don't have use of my left hand. One reviewer's comment to be careful and hold on to the handles with both hands when getting up or it will tip over, scared me. I tried the bench in my living room first and, as per the reviewer, it immediately tipped. However, with the help of my therapists, we found a solution: To place the bench catty-corner. I was amazed that it worked! But the right arm of the bench should be leaning against the wall on the right,, as the arm can only move so far; it has nowhere to go. We tried several different positions in the shower. My OT had assembled it very easily in a few minutes--NO TOOLS NEEDED. This is a very small bench and I kept it at its lowest level and feel very comfortable on it. The bench does not actually have suction cups on the legs, but it seems very sturdy. I have not actually taken a shower in it yet, but if placed in the aforementioned position, is very safe and comfortable. This purchase was a H U G E SUCCESS!
