I tried putting those little stick-on pads and cutting them at an angle so they wouldn't be seen, but that was a futile. Then I had the brilliant idea of cutting the top off the cardboard tissue box, so it can be the base and holder underneath the fancy exterior. It works perfectly! Even though I must still take the extra step to replace half a box of tissues, as needed. And after time, I will need to re-cut another box, because it is just cardboard. But I'm sure that won't be very frequent. This gorgeous shiny tissue holder is worth that little bit of extra effort. Though for the price I paid, it would have been nice if a thin plastic holder was included, instead of me having to cut a cardboard box.
