They are counterfeit, made from a cheap ribbon, not the soft elastic that Road ID used to manufacture their product. They arrive after several weeks from China and it will cost you more to ship than back than the original cost to purchase!!!! See the picture attached. On my right foot is the actual Road ID band, which I have had for years and works extremely well. On my left foot is the useless ribbon this company is trying to sell as the Road ID brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made. *by M***N on August 24, 2017* I live in a big city, and do much walking. I've had so many near misses with cars; even in intersections with traffic lights. Usually, there's enough light for the drivers to see me. I bought these in the hope that something reflective, will grab their attention, to remind them that there are traffic laws.They are well-made. The velcro is strong. My ankle is about 9.5" around. In the photo images, I have fastened them the same as I would wear them on my bare ankles. I haven't worn them much on my ankles, due to the fact that they look odd on top of the kind of jeans I wear. I did, however, find that they work really well as wrist bands over a winter coat.I'd had these 6 months. They'd gotten a little dirty. Before taking the photos, I hand washed them with Ivory bar soap.I believe that they do help to remind drivers that I am there. I plan to buy the wristbands as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Case Works Best For My Needs *by A***Y on November 29, 2012* FYI, my mind-set about a phone case - protecting a phone, like the GS3, with a case far outweighs any of the potential drawbacks...BASIC INFOFrom the pictures, not including the customer pictures, you might not realize that the case comes in two parts; a rubber inner case and an outer plastic case that provides support.The case fits securely around the phone, in the first few weeks I removed it 15+ times and it's still a secure fit.I'm very pleased with the four raised rubber edges on the corners; just in case I drop it I will have extra shock absorbing corners.THICKNESSI have small hands, and with the Guardian case the phone is now twice as thick. At first I wasn't all that excited about a bigger phone but now I'm used to it (people with larger hands may prefer a thicker feel). When I take the case off the naked, thin phone now feels alien to me.Besides, before I had the case I was treating my phone like it was a baby, now I just treat it with the normal care I did my previous phone.HAND GRIPThe exposed rubber parts of the case provide excellent grip for when I handle the phone, especially one-handed. Without the case I get too nervous about dropping the phone; due to it being so thin, smooth, and slick.CAR GRIPWith this rubber grip I can put my phone on my car's center storage area or passenger seat and it does a good job staying put (my previous phone would slide right off). However, It's not glued so be careful with sharp turns.POCKET GRIPThe only drawback about having a rubber case (even partially rubber in this case) is when I take the phone out of my pocket. The phone regularly flips out my jean, basketball short, sweat, and dress pant pockets.But here is another situation where the positives outweigh the negatives; my old phone used to sneak out of my basketball shorts and my sweats (never my jeans) and I feared I might accidentally leave my phone behind some day. The exposed rubber parts on this case have contributed to the phone sticking inside my pockets much better. With this case I have yet to catch my phone prairie dogging it or being a turtle head, and not once has it ever accidentally fallen out.LINT!!!The rubber attracts lint and because the raised rubber edges go around the screen it's difficult to actually remove any lint. I have given up trying to remove the lint; I simply push the lint to the top or bottom where it's off the screen and out of the way. I have learned to live with it and it no longer bothers me, I only notice it when the screen is off.AUDIO JACKPay attention to your 3.5mm headphone jack or audio male to male cable if you use one. My previous audio cable had a fat plastic girth that would not allow the needle to go all the way in while the case was on. Luckily I had a spare and it was just skinny enough to get past the size limitation. Options would be to enlarge the hole by cutting it, or to simply get a smaller audio cable. (Seriously, this section was not intended to have sexual innuendos)BUTTONS: Otterbox Commuter VS. GuardianI did use the Otterbox Commuter case for my GS3 and it's slightly thicker than the Guardian Case, it also provided a level of protection I do not require. The reason why the Otterbox is horrendous is due to the power and volume rocker buttons not functioning properly. As mentioned in other reviews I really think this Guardian case makes the power and volume buttons easier to use. I would like to comment on the Otterbox Defender case but I never got a chance to try it because I was so happy with this Guardian case.If you looking for protection and don't need Chuck Norris type protection then this is the case for you.
