Q: Where should I place the monitor for best results?

Only indoors (never outdoors), when placing it avoid areas of high ventilation as it could skew the results. We recommend placing it in areas where people gather like the kitchen or living room. Can be placed on a surface or wall-mounted.

Q: Will I have accurate measurements from day 1?

Humidity, temperature and air pressure, are ready from day 1. CO2 and VOC sensors will adjust to the environment during the first week. For radon levels long-term average is important, so wait until after the first month before you act.

Q: Can I check my live Wave Plus air quality readings in the app from anywhere?

No, but it’s possible. Wave Plus is equipped with Bluetooth and syncs data when your phone is within Bluetooth range (about 10m). But, if you have a View series monitor, it can act as an Internet hub for it.

Q: Why wait at least 20 days before acting on your measured radon level?

Radon levels fluctuate due to weather changes, so a longer test provides a more accurate average, as short-term tests may miss this. Levels can take days to a month to stabilise within ±10% accuracy. Waiting at least 20 days ensures reliable results.
