Audio2000'S ADC2716 Cable Reel, Capacity: 330ft of 6mm cable

I ordered 2 of these to manage 2 150" LynxPro Ethercon cables and they fit perfectly. The construction is solid and works well for this application. Others have mentioned that these are not heavy duty and I would agree but for the use I intend they will be perfect. I would not recommend them for a construction job site or for more torturous applications.

The reel was of good quality, made of sturdy materials. I like that there is a way to wrap one end of the cord on the exterior of the reel so that both ends of the cord are available to plug in as needed.

I have several of these, now. I keep 250' Ethernet lines and steel cables on it, for quicker deployment in temporary systems. It is cheap and simple. I just wish it had a spinning handle on the spool to make it easier to crank. In fact, there is barely any handle to work with - just a small, hard plastic protrusion. I also wish it had a brake when you wanted the spool not to spin. When I'm dropping wire from a theater catwalk down to the floor, I've had it totally unspool on me when I run downstairs. But now, I just tie it off with some gaff tape when I leave it. No big deal. Good product for the price.

Holds 100' of 12/3 heavy duty extension cord. I couldn't find any decent review stating its capacity with regards to 12/3. The cord is a bit thick to work in the cord holder slots. See photo for reference but finally something that will hold my 100' heavy duty extension cord.

First impressions..smaller than expected. But I was able to wind 100ft of 16awg extension cable (see photo). The frame is metallic, but the wheel is plastic. It's relatively thin and flexes. The wheel is mounted through the frame - there's no bearings - so turning is not super smooth or easy. Speaking of turning, there's 3 cylindrical protrusions that I suppose one is to use to reel - but it's too small to get a grip - needs a handle. The best thing about it for me is to use as an extension cord storage. There's a hole thru which you can extend one end and wrap around the wheel on the outside (see photo). now I keep the wheel near the outlet and then unreel as much as I want and then reel it back in. Once I put a handle on it, it should work for me - I hope the plastic wheel doesn't break anytime soon. Acceptable - but not worth $45.

I really like these wire reels they hold the 300+ feet of RJ 45 CAT 8 Wire and help me easily manage it so it’s not all over the place and it’s easy to wire back up onto the reel I liked it so much. I bought three of them I might buy more. Probably will.

I looked at and bought other reels for my 100 Ft 12 AWG extension cords but most 100 Ft reels are made for 16 AWG or possibly 14 AWG. This reel works great and is built well enough to take the abuse it gets on my job sites.

This is a very sturdy and high quality spindle. You can use it with lots of things, electrical cords, twine, etc, but what we purchased it for was Christmas lights. A couple of years ago we bought a super long strand (it fits an entire tree) of Christmas lights. They were always getting tangled up. This was the perfect solution! It's easy to roll some off a little at a time to decorate the tree, and also to reel it in a little at a time when removing the lights at the end of the season. Saves a lot of time.

It has a larger center hub. I put 150 feet of Cat 6e DSnake Cable on it and it fits well. 10 feet of the cable is on the outside part of the reel for final connection at the reel end. Was what I was looking for ***

This actually works for heavy gauge cord also. No problem. Might be good to have a handle come with it but still good with the nubby handle that is molded onto it
