SEB MAN The Purist Purifying Shampoo 250 ml

A very nice shampoo which lathers well and has a pleasant scent. The bottle is well designed too. Helping to moisturise my (dandruff-free) scalp.

My go to shampoo. It smells nice and doesn't make my head itchy like most others. It is a bit expensive though

You only need a small amount, it works well, smells great and doesn't make my skin dry like H&S does.

This is a new men's haircare brand with smart, attractive packaging. The shampoo has a musky smell that reminds me of aftershave. My husband tested this product and said that it worked fine, lathering well. However, as he usually buys £1 shampoo, he would never spend this much on a haircare product and to be honest, neither would I, so the price is very off-putting, especially for a brand aimed at men.

This is just shampoo. That's it. What do you get for the fact that it's five to ten times the price of a regular bottle of shampoo? Absolutely nothing. Will it clean your hair? Yes. Will it do it in a greatly improved way to a cheapo bottle from Aldi? Of course not. I don't know what else to say really? I feel for such an expensive product I should write a few paragraphs but what would be the point? It smells like shampoo, it's thick and...errr...the bottle is black. If you have money to burn then sure, go ahead but otherwise, just buy a bottle for a pound from the supermarket and then get yourself a DVD, or three pints, or a McDonalds etc.

Other than the fact it comes in a black plastic container so it is difficult to judge how much you have left it works well. I have been using it and another major shampoo and both seem to work well with the other offering more lather. The container matches other products in the SEB MAN range so make sure you don't use the wrong product.
