This left my house UNSECURE.I called Avocet to explain and ask for advise about a refund or replacement. I was stopped whilst explaining the issue. As I purchased this from another party and not directly from them, they WILL NOT honour the 5 year guarentee and I need to contact the vendor, Amazon.There was no empathy shown and they didn't care about the safety issue to my young family who were home at that time.Have already replaced with a better, reputable-branded product.Amazon as always were amazing with their assistance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mid-range mid-cost and no door modification required *by A***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 May 2018* Awesome locks. They have always been my go-to for medium security/cost applications. The fact there is a tool available that opens them in seconds is a bit of a minus for them, so I have been considering switching to the Yale Platinum for a while, but the Yale has the downside that you have to do some drilling to most doors to make them fit.In the absence of a good range of euro cylinder sizes from Abloy, these and the Yale Platinum are as good as they get. (If you do have a door that can fit an Abloy it's also 3x the cost)If you are tempted by the flashy marketing on the Ultion locks, beware! This lock by far seems to be more quality made, robust and easy to insert the key...Was extremely easy to order additional keys with the code supplied with the lock and installation literally took less than 2 minutes and that's without much experience with screw drivers.Would definitely recommend the product, as is extremely secure, well made and looks both of these too..!
