For its time, it was a good attempt. If you compare this to today's technology as well as style, it will seem somewhat dull. I watch it like I watch classics and appreciate it from that angle. Do keep in the mind that the historical accuracy, which it also states, is somewhat questionable. The TV film here is based on a novel and not historical references.

All I have to say is that this is great show/series to watch. I started watching it and I got so addicted to it...I finished it in a week. Very knowledgable.
