High-quality, really dampens the movement
Iโm super happy. The hardware provided looks much better than the hardware in the picture. The stainless steel clip is super solid, and has a nice tight gate closure. The quality looks excellent so far. UPDATE: Iโve been using this as a bridal on my 26 foot power boat for a season. I use it primarily when anchoring overnight. The elastic does a great job dampening the boatโs movement. It takes all the pressure off the windlass, foredeck, and bow roller. I think itโs preventing a ton of wear and tear. When I use it, the elastic decreases pull on the anchor chain. I think that decreases the likelihood that the anchor will slip. All in all, a worthwhile piece of hardware for people who want to have some more peace of mind while at anchor.

Great sbalizer rope for the boat.
I used this at lake Powell to anchor the bacK of my boat to the shore while I used another achor for the bow. This rope worked great and helped stabilize the rear of my boat. Perfect.

Problem solver
I like products that solve problems. So many times, people design things that creates more issues than it solves, or tries to solve a problem you don't even have. The Anchor Shock solves the perpetual problem of anchoring a boat that does not have a bow cleat. It is a simple, straight-forward bridle that allows you to tie off your anchor rode from your two bow cleats. It appears to be reasonably well constructed. So far, I have not used it a ton of times, but the few times I have, it works completely as advertised. Great product!

durability
the stainless clip seems a bit undersized and difficult to attach to anchor line although it probably would work well on smaller lines. The loops for the cleats need to be larger to attach more securely. Thus far I have used it twice in very calm water so in reality it hasn't been really tested for reliability in rougher/windy weather when it would be needed most

Perfect for anchoring a pontoon
We have a 20โ Pontoon with a 8โ6โ beam. The 20โ anchor shock is perfect for attaching each loop end to the opposing bow cleats and then clipping onto the anchor rope. The stretch makes losing bottom much less likely as the anchor line isnโt violently jerked when we are in waves/wakes.

Nice product
Fast delivery, I used it on my boat and held it to the shore perfectly even in the wind. I also use it to hold both of my jet skis to the same sand spike and work out great.
