71 y.o. who was getting sore - specifically the 2 U-shaped bones located at the bottom of the pelvis, acting as the bony support for the body while sitting. They are part of the ischium bone, which is one of the three components of the hip bone. This pillow/seat has been a real blessing due to the two holes in the seat to relieve pressure in that area. The pillow does squash down a bit due to weight of the body (and I'm a skinny guy) but it does not affect effectiveness. Yes, it is more expensive - roughly 2x more the cheapy ones- but WELL WORTH it. Quality matters.

This cushion has greatly improved my quality of life. I can once again sit, drive, and generally get through the day with much less pain. I wish I had found this cushion sooner as it would have saved me a lot of pain and maybe even resulted in a better recovery. Prior to this, I tried more than a dozen cushions during the span of a year. Sitting continued to result in painful flare-ups with all of them. I consulted doctors and physical therapists but they offered nothing except drugs and suggested nerve blocks. I was desperate to give my body a chance to recover so the search for a way to get pressure off the nerve continued. I was hesitant about the cost of this cushion but it's worth it. The comfort was instant. The holes are in the perfect place to take pressure off nerves. And, the holes are big enough they should work well for a variety of body types. This is now the only cushion I need and I use it everywhere. This cushion is on the thicker side for driving. I'm petite so I can handle the height boost this provides in the car. It's worth it to be able to drive without enduring serious flare-ups. As for sitting at a desk or in any other situation, this cushion is perfect. Excellent materials and construction. No toxic chemical odors like some of the cheaper pillows I tried. I've now used it for months and it's still supportive and like new. With good care this cushion will last a long time. Please never change the design or high quality. Thank you for making this cushion as it has given me a chance to regain my life.

The is tge absolute best cushion out there for sit bone pain, i have one in every car now , trust me this kne is worth the price and offers full relief in a short time using it the oain is all gone

I’m going to give this thing a 4 because it’s not perfect. The pad is very well made, durable, and a pretty good combo of comfort and ruggedness. I find however, that I am constantly moving around on it to find the most comfortable position. It seems like the holes don’t fit me precisely but it’s better than anything else I’ve found and it’s become rather indispensable.

I am currently challenged by a proximal hamstring tendinopathy from sliding 5x while walking the dog in the ice for 3 wks this winter. Unfortunately it became chronic after some long car rides- I’m fine walking- I can’t sit for prolonged periods of time!! I’m going to Ireland in a month and I need to be able to sit comfortably more than 15 min! I used tonight during Bible Study as well as to/from in car and I went from an annoying ache in my bottom to NO PAIN! I am a home care physical therapist- I will DEFINITELY be recommending this cushion to my patients with similar pan complaints during sitting. Complete GAME CHANGER! Thank you Aylio!!

I have had this seat cushion for years and am very happy with the quality and function of it! My "sits bones" get sore and this helps since I usually drive over 400 miles every week in currently an F-150 Ford truck. Also, since I like sitting higher in the truck to see out over - it helps with that issue too. It may seem like a high price, but it's excellent quality and is worth the money!

I was excited to get this and had high hopes as I live in pain daily. I can not use this one in the car at all, but having been testing it out and using it on my office chair, switching it out every few hours with another seat cushion. Since it is memory foam, I was trying to see if I could "break it in" for my personal sitting needs, but have had no luck. It is actually causing me more pain and that is why I have to keep switching it out. I have a small frame and the holes are still too far apart for me. My 4 biggest problems with seat cushions are: 1. I have a pressure point on the inside of my hip where it feels like there is a vice grip squeezing me. When I sit, it gets unbearable. The edge of the holes on the cushion are stiffer and raised higher than the rest of the seat, hitting me right where that pain is, making it worse. WHY would they raise that part of the cushion knowing they are selling this to people looking for relief from hip and joint pain? This is not a one size fits all cushion and does not help with sciatic pain !! 2. The seat also needs to be wider as the outer edge comes up and puts undo pressure on the outside of my hip and thigh, hitting a pressure point and causing it to ache. Again, I am a small framed person and if this design is too narrow for me, I can't imagine it being a good fit for someone larger than myself. (I wear a size 6 ladies clothing, so that should tell you approx how big I am). 3. I have is the pain running down the back of my leg and I can't stand for any seat edges to touch it. I wish I could find a cushion that is longer and would tapper off to almost nothing and came down to my where my knees bend, especially for the car. I think that is the only solution for me. So, this cushion is not long enough for my needs. I thought this cushion was designed to help with hamstring issue? 4. I understand that a cushion needs to be firm to withstand weigh and maintain it's shape, but this cushion is just downright hard in my opinion. I feel the cushion could stand to have a softer layer over the memory foam to make it a more comfortable sitting experience. I understand my needs for a particular cushion are complexed and that is why a standard seat cushion doesn't work for me and I searched for a specific type of cushion for my needs. I am not alone in this world and that is why there are companies like this one that is trying to create a specific cushion for people like me with similar conditions. Those of us with these problems don't mind spending extra for something that will work, but this cushion is not the answer for me. I have to ask if the people that designed this cushion are only going by what they think might work and actually do not have these problems themselves? Because if they were able to "feel" what we feel, they would know modifications need to be made to this cushion. I am rating this cushion a 0 for my needs. I am submitting a return request.

Very expensive but worth every penny if you have a sitting bone pain problem.

This is the second one of these cushions that my wife and I have bought. I recently had a bike accident and fractured my pelvis. The cushions are well designed, very well made and work perfectly. She and I are completely satisfied and happy now we have one each.

Schade, dass es nirgendwo in Europa einen ähnlichen guten Kissen gibt (die wenig Kissen, die es hier gibt, haben Löcher, die nicht groß genug und genug weit auseinandern sind) und zum Glück gibt es diesen Kissen, aber man muss denen aus den USA bestellen. Habe ich gemacht und freue mich jeden Tag, dass ich es gekauft habe. Der Kissen ist schön weich (für jemand der um herum 60kg wiegt), aber nicht soviel, dass die Sitzbeinhöcker den Stuhlbereich berühren, wenn drauf sitzt).

This is a medical grade device that costs more than cheap cushions, but it works extremely well. I would purchase this again if it was lost or damaged. The owners even wrote me a personal note offering assistance if needed. I am a recently retired Nurse Practitioner, and my wife recently retired from her position as the head of our Orthopaedic Operating Room. She was also impressed by the quality of this item.
