Great bit of kit.
I get fed up tripping over cables. This is easy to set up and I have found no difference in sound quality. I found two boss models on Amazon and I picked this because its easier to charge up (Plug transmitter into receiver, attach mains and it charges up). Plenty of time to play before recharging. It easily gets you through the night. I used it for rehearsals for 6 hours before recharging and it still had juice in it. The main light changes colour when it needs charged and that hasn't happened yet. However the main test is freedom of movement and I cant fault it yet. I moved around whilst playing and found no difference in sound quality. Also, all pedals work fine. Its placed at the start of your pedal board with all effects added after it. There is also an input socket as well as an output to next pedal (or amp). This then means that if you see the low charge light come on and don't want to take a chance, you can then plug in a normal cable between guitar and the receiver. This then overrides the receiver and you can play as you would normally. Excellent bit of kit.

Great product - very happy
I sent back the other cheap ass wireless system i had and got this instead. Works perfectly with all my boss pedals in a daisy chain and powers them all via the boss power supply. Sound is perfect. Would be better if the unit on the guitar folded in as it sometimes hits the ground when i put my guitar down. this will obviously depend what type of guitar you have. My main is a Rickenbacker 330 JG so if you have a guitar that has the output in the side then you need to be a bit more careful (eg les paul, ricks, gretsch ) Great bit of kit though.

Ideal
Good set up - easy to use, been tested at gigs, and does exactly what i need it to - not a bad price either.

cable and wireless
No cable, no problem. Fits nicely on my pedal board and the battery life seems very good. The sound quality is fabulous no worries there. Some say there are problems when trying to use it with an acoustic but I haven't experienced that. I recommend this bit of kit as it is very good and the sound quality is great BUT I have deducted a star because it is well over £100 which I feel is rather expensive. Also if you have one of those guitars with an odly located jack socket you could run into trouble, likewise with tremolo arms. Having said all that this is darn good.

Perfect transmission without delay
I have this powered with the Boss PSA adaptor that I use for my Boss ME-80 effects board. I purchased the optional daisy chain cable (Boss) from Amazon so can power the ME-80 from the WL-50 DC output. Use the transmitter on a Fender Strat and Fender 12-string and 6-string. All work perfectly as if were connected by leads. No discernible difference using either. No delay from 10m distance. Great product for my studio work. No cables to fall over or get tangled up.

It's a joy being un-tethered, but no fun being disconnected ..
I came to this well aware of the issues (interference) such devices are prone to, Boss appeared to be forging their own path and a premium option seemed the best bet .. alas not for the modern household and worryingly even when used at close quarters Ironically you could probably take this to a park and get a stable connection, but trying to practice at home was just not workable, i do have a large array of IoT devices and the Boss Amp and Bluetooth Transmitter are also part of that general noise - a few tests in and i knew it was unworkable when with the guitar on my thigh (a tele, so transmitter is low) and the receiver within a meter the connected signal (green light) would cut in and out based on how the neck was tilted. No amount of class leading latency can account for that buzzkill and at that premium price. What's worse is being lumbered with a cable experience now knowing how liberating it is, but it has to work better than i experienced - there'd be little moments like ring-mod and i also noticed my son getting shouty with his switch as he complained of input lag affecting his game outcomes, but this could be other traffic including the Boss Bluetooth on the amp This is possibly a great performing device, it manifests as faulty by virtue of its design (it's unlikely to have been a faulty unit, but can't rule that out) for a pocket-money outlay all the interruptions could've been overlooked (but only in a practice environment) but there's no point in ultra-low latency if it isn't stable in a real world usage scenario, ymmv !

Run around like a Rock Star
I’ve been playing for 25 years. I’ve always used leads. This has changed my life. Now I can run around the stage much to the annoyance of my band members. I can dive into the crowds, run and get kisses from adoring groupies, or head backstage to open a bottle of vodka during the set. Thank you boss, you’ve changed the world!

Funktioniert perfekt!

I have been using wireless units to gig since the 80's. My first unit was a Shure system. The receiver was bulky and it used 9V batteries like crazy. It was awesome and dependable though. I still have it and it works great. Then I bought a Line 6 G10 unit because it was compact and rechargeable. I have used it to gig for many years and it has worked flawlessly. The only downside to the Line 6 was the power cord. It was a USB and quite fragile. Then I saw this BOSS unit and I thought I would try it. I haven't played out with it yet but this is what I love so far. It takes up less space on my pedal board than the Line 6, It is powered by the same supply that powers all my pedals so less cords. The sending unit that plugs into the guitar can be charged with the base unit OR with a USB. And. unlike the G 10, it has an output and an input in case the battery dies I can quickly plug in a cord. I tried this system at home and I walked upstairs to the opposite end of the house and there were no drop outs! So far I love it-I will review it again after I play with the band where we have wireless in-ears and two other players with wireless units.
