## Overview

The FrSky Delta 8 is a groundbreaking 8-channel 2.4GHz receiver uniquely compatible with Futaba, Hitec, and FrSky protocols. ## Description

Delta-8 Not only is it the first Futaba FHSS compatible, but it is also the first time anyone has a single receiver that supports 3 different protocols! Binding is simple, and the receiver automatically locks into the correct protocol. As an option, you can use jumpers to lock it into your protocol. If that was not enough, this receiver also features CPPM and RSSI output options. CPPM allows you to feed all 8 channels through a single servoconnector and is great for Flybarless helicopters and other flight controllers (such as Quads).RSSI output is great for sending your signal strength indicator to an onboard video systems. These are advanced features you typically have to pay a premium for elsewhere. Features: Fully compatible with 3 different brands of radio control equipment - Futaba, Hitec and FrSky. Specifications:Dimension: 49mm×24.5mm×15 mm Weight: 9.3g Operating VoltageRange: 3.5V-10.0V Operating Current: 30mA Operating Range: 1.5km-2.5km Resolution: 3072 (>11bit) Compatibility: Hitec A-FHSS ,Futaba S-FHSS, Futaba FHSS and FrSky V8 & D8.

Review: It works perfectly with Hitec's Minima Protocol - It works perfectly with the Hitec's minima protocol. With an Aurora 9, Aurora 9X or Flash 8, you can get all 8 channels which is fantastic for flying large or complex models like 7-channel gliders, or if you're more ambitious, 8 channel jets with retractable landing gear. If you're using a RadioMaster or Jumper radio you should frequency tune these receivers before flying which can be a little tricky since the minima protocol doesn't feature telemetry which helps in the process. Just look at the link LED after the receiver has been bound when you start frequency tuning these things and then stop frequency tuning (in one direction) at the first point where the bind LED becomes intermittent. I have had no problems flying these with my Hitec Aurora 9X. I use one of them in a 7-channel gliders, an old FlyZone Calypso, with dual ailerons, dual flaps, a motor, and obviously, rudder and elevator control. I used to flying it easily above four hundred feet, but that was before the FAA decided it was necessary to regulate model aircraft. I planning to use one of these receivers in a FliteTest style foam board 8-channel flying with with dual flaps, dual ailerons, and drag-rudders (also called split ailerons which require another 4 channels to control) at the wingtips that I have been working on. I already have the mixes and flight modes setup in my radio. You really can do some pretty impressive things with 8-channels. You can get cppm and rssi output with Hitec's minima protocol if you set a jumper between the channel 3 and 4 signal pins. If you do this, then the receiver will still output channels 6 through 9 on pins 5-8 as per the receiver's manual. Also note that you shouldn't use the AFHSS mode in Hitec transmitters. The dual whip antennas should be oriented 90 degrees from each other for best reception. Lastly, always remember to set the fail-safe in these receivers. Bad things will happen whenever you don't.
Review: Quick shipment, addressed questions promptly. - Excellent full range receiver used by other members of our club, so I thought I would give it a try. So far, so good. Enclosed binding clips made binding quick and easy

### ⭐ They have binding issues
*by O***S on March 27, 2019*

I didn't like the product. This receiver will not bind to my futaba t8j transmitter. The price was ok but I wouldn't advice anyone buying it because of the binding issues
