iSpring DF2-CHR Faucet Water Filter for Kitchen, Bathroom, or RV Sink – Water Filter for Sink Faucet, 500 Gallons Long Life, Chrome Finish

We have hard water where we live and I bought this little filter for my laundry room sink for water when cooking, etc. I have a refrigerator filter but that takes too long when you are adding water to a big pot, so I bought a small sink filter for this purpose. It works great for what I use it for. I make a lot of brewed tea and go through a lot of gallons of tea each week. This works great for me. I bought a replacement filter and will buy one again when needed. Water is definitely better tasting and less hard. It fit my faucet perfect. The faucet came with multiple fittings and thread tape. It lasts up to 500 gallons per filter, which will last me more than a year for what I use it for. Water pressure is normal.

Great looking, easy install. But my filter lasted only 5-6 months. But that could be water has lots of rusty colored stuff. I rent house rural, so maybe it's water here. But the filter works!

I bought this to replace a previous generation PUR filter that I never loved. That one didn't attach securely to the tap and filtered slowly. I love that this iSpring filter screws on to my faucet with no leaks; it feels much more secure and also takes up less space. It also filters the water quickly, almost too fast; it's hard to believe it's really filtering as great as they say when it feels like it's running through nearly as fast as when bypassing the filter. But it does get rid of the chlorine taste, so if that's your need I highly recommend it over the PUR filter. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is just because I don't know how well this really works beyond getting rid of the slight chlorine taste. I live in an area with good water quality, so can't see a difference, and don't have an easy way to test it otherwise. If the company could provide independent test results that would help; just saying that it removes "150+ contaminants" sounds too good to be true for such a lightweight and fast filter. And the pics showing the results of filter tests don't mean anything to me without clarification or independent verification. I'll update this in the future if that is provided, or anything else happens to change my opinion. So far I think this is a worthwhile product though, and that seems to be as good as one can hope for with faucet filters.

Easy to install. The box was open inside the delivery bag, but everything was new and all the parts were there. Simple and excellent. It's very functional and looks nice on the faucet. Seems well made. Water looks great as I filled a bottle. Great value and functional.

It breaks so easily and then it started spilling all over, it’s pretty big which is not so good regarding the size. The water was more clean for sure, and when I was brushing my teeth I didn’t taste so much the chlorine but I wish it wouldn’t have been so fragile because after 2 weeks I had to throw it out

Love the filter But need a fix for the leaky switch We bought a couple and were hopeful that the leaky switch was just a fluke... but not! When we turn the switch for filtered water, water sprays/ shoots out so we put a wash rag over both til the filter is used up The good news is the filter works awesome and water tastes great so the fix would simply be to update the switch somponent somehow

I bought this filter at Amazon US and had it shipped to Japan. The filter was easily installed on my Japanese Toto tkgg30e/12725e0946d faucet without using the included adapter. This faucet has a 24mm diameter round aerator (the mesh disc screwed into the thread in the faucet spout, which water filters through). It's too new to assess the filter performance, but we're forced to give a star rating. So I've given a five. But, I want to share some things that surprised me. The water flows exceptionally fast...as if no filter is attached. The instruction sheet says to let the water flow through the filter for one minute before using/drinking. I let it flow for two minutes at high force after seeing the black soot that initially flowed. Afterwards, I drank a sip and was initially fine. But, noticed my throat hurt later. Brita instructs their filter users to soak their filters and to rinse before using. I wonder if I poisoned myself given this company does not provide an explanation of all the material in their filter. Perhaps it's best to let water flow through the filter longer before drinking water from it. The instruction sheet needs tweaking. The font is too small, e.g. 6 point. The low resolution images and content errors made me question if this filter is produced in the States (qualities common to products I've purchased and discovered they were from China) despite the US contact information in it. The manual refers to an image that doesn't exist "the image above on the right shows an aerator of a faucet." Also, "universal faucet adapter...shown above on the left" when the image is actually to the left, and not at all above. The thumbnail images in the usage recommendations section are difficult to understand they're so tiny and unclear. Finally, consumers are warned not to clean the filter housing with detergents, chemicals, etc. Given its on the kitchen faucet, I'm concerned about dish soap coming into contact with it.

I'm very pleased with this faucet filter since it's probably the only one on the market that can filter out some amount of fluoride. There are, of course, fluoride filters, but not ones that fit onto the faucet itself. And the water tastes good, too. Not bland like other filters, where it's drinkable only when cold. But for best quality, I change the filter cartridge every 3 months. I also bought the shower filter which has proved satisfying as well, seeing the results in the quality of my hair. Furthermore, I have to say that their customer service is exceptional. I've called a couple of times with questions and every time, someone answered directly, pleasantly helping me out without any hassles. I thank them for valuing their customers.

I needed to replace a Brita filter that leaked badly through the casing and saw this unit had good reviews. I am amazed at the high water flow through it. I’ve only had it two weeks so can’t speak to filter life or unit longevity, but very happy with it so far. It screwed directly onto our tap, so no need for an adapter and very easy to install. I didn’t put in a rating for ‘sheerness’ as I have no idea what that means in relation to a water filter!
