Super Comfy & Very Durable
The Cocoon RipStop Silk MummyLiner is a great addon for both regular campers and military personnel. If you're a college student, it's ultra-light and is very portable, which is perfect to carry in a small bag when you need to crash on a friend's couch and don't want to sleep on their nasty CraigsList-purchased futon. For me, in the Marine Corps, I think this product is a perfect accessory for the sleeping bags we are issued, which retain a nice stench from the field. It's a real pain to wash a sleeping bag, but with this you just remove the liner and wash it instead after a trip to the field. It seems to be more durable than the typical silk liners because of the way the fabric is woven. This is a good gift for the family member who has everything, especially if they are in college or are a recent grad.

comfort
Very comfortable, seems fairly durable for how light it is. This does add a noticeable warmth to your sleep system.

Silk is SO worth the extra $!
This liner did exactly what I needed it to do: add warmth to my 3-season bag for a particularly chilly backpacking trip, and with the least amount of weight possible. Seams are strong, fabric is smooth and tough, but weighs practically nothing. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Difficult (as most liners are) to get into and out of. I would like to see a tie closure or just a more open seam along one side (1/2 way?) to facilitate entry and exit, like sleeping bags have.

Great liner that can mitigate your neurosis of sleeping between hotel sheets.
I bought this liner to use in a hotel during a stay for a conference. It was a nice hotel, but I'm weird about sleeping on/under the sheets of a hotel bed. This was a nice way to prevent the sheets from actually touching my skin (I know, weird right!?) Anyway, the liner is very soft and gave me enough room to move around. I've 5'8" and it was long, but I thought the top section could have been a little longer. The liner if very slippery which makes it kind of hard (for lack of a better word) to move around while tossing/turning during normal sleep. When I would try to turn during sleep, the liner would move with me and end up twisted. It's hard to explain the experience. The liner is very thin and I did have to cover myself with the hotel sheets and quilt due to the cool air from the air conditioning. I was able to repack each day into it's original sack (about the size of a 12oz can of soda). I chose this liner over pricier liners and never questioned the purchase. I see no need to spend any more than what I paid for this (I think about fifty US dollars). Overall I enjoyed the product and highly recommend it. It takes very little space in the suit case, is very comfortable, and the size is big enough for the average person. And it settled my neurosis of sleeping between hotel sheets. It did it's job well ;)

I should have bought one these years ago.
If you spend anytime traveling, sleeping in sleeping bags, sleeping in hotels or hostels, etc then you should get yourself one of these. Not only does it feel like you are under silk sheets it will save you from sleeping on dirty linen and keep your sleeping bag cleaner, longer. You can just wash the liner whenever you need. plus you can add it to a heavy bag to get a little extra warmth but almost helps out in the summer trying to find that perfect balance between to heavy and too light. I'm buying another one. they sent me the wrong color but I just picked the color that was cheapest so I don't care. Oh, and it packs down into a tiny stuff sack smaller than my fist. Woudl definitely benefit from having a side zipper as an option. If you would like to know something specific about this item just ask and I'll try to respond within a day or so.

Great Lightweight Liner
This is a great addition to my backpacking sleeping system. I use a Q Core pad from Big Agnes, an Exped pillow, and a 40^ down top-quilt from Underground Quilts. This liner will be used to protect my sleep system for my dirty body (hiking ijs dirty, sweaty business). The liner is a good quality silk and sized as advertised. I tried the liner out in my living room and it is as silky as you would expect and I am looking forward to using this on the trail this weekend.

Elegant, cozy sleep sack!
I recently traveled to Norway and had a long plane ride over the northern route through Iceland. Our daughter recommended this sleep sack to me, saying planes can be drafty and this luxurious item allows you to cuddle into your tiny space in cozy comfort. I ordered a different one for my husband but his didn't zip up along the side so it was difficult to use. This one allows quick exit if you need to get up to stretch your legs. the beautiful blue and gold swirls don't show soil and it actually looks like a work of art. I highly recommend it.

good, hard to roll up
Great product. It's soft and I fit perfectly in it (6'4, 190lbs). However, I struggle rolling it back up. I wish the pouch that is included with it would be a little bigger. This liner will give you about 3-5F extra heat while sleeping. Update: I went and traveled the Pacific for 2 months using this liner. I found it to be great in hostels when you don't know when the sheets were last cleaned and it protected me against bed bugs that I only found out about the next day. The string at the top is very convenient when you're sleeping outside and it's windy because it allows you to be completely covered - even your head.

Seide... was sonst
Zuerst gedacht ich hätte das rechteckige bestellt, so war dieses Inlet unabdingbar in Ost-Indonesien. Sehr gute Verarbeitung, optimaler Wärme-Austausch, nimmt kaum Platz auf.

Pretty good
Let me start off by saying I use mine more than most will. It takes a little getting used to sleeping with a liner. But it is a little bit warmer than sleeping without. It's nice to be able to clean the liner rather than your sleeping bag itself. I can't say how it compares to a less than 100% silk liner because this is the first I've used. This was also one of the only mummy styles I could find. It packs up small and light too. Would be hard to put a second person in, FYI. Think of it as sleeping with sheets or without. Which is more comfortable? So end of the day 5 out of 5 stars.
