Superb flavor and a strong black tea, this variety is beyond superb and into the sublime. It’s an incredible blend, and I believe that all English breakfast tea lovers would enjoy it. I can usually detect my favorite blends by the smell of the tea when brewing it, but this blend is unusual in that the scent didn’t give itself away, so I was wary; but from the first sip I was in tea heaven. All those to whom I’ve given the tea found it special as well. I’ve now been trying the other blends of Smith teas, including Bungalow (a Darjeeling based blend), and their excellent peppermint tea, and clearly these are well crafted tea blends. We all have different senses of smell and taste, but for those seeking a higher plane of tea sipping should consider Smith teas worthy of sampling.
