Writing for Minecrafters: Grade 2

This book contains games and makes writing in the answers fun by asking questions about this video game. My 8 year old will complete pages out of this work book on his own . Great for homeschooling! My son is in second grade.

I purchased this a summer review to reduce "summer slide" after Second Grade. My son was a reluctant writer . The assignments engaged my son and he happily would complete a page or two each day(depending on the activity itself per my review). I am very impressed by the quality of the assignments for skill review, design of the book, the color, the Minecraft themes.

Fun way to practice writing!

This is good as an add on for homeschool. Your kid will need to know the various parts of speech such as adjectives and such. It doesn't provide info on what those are, but has activities for practicing with them.

I am very happy with this book. My son is 8 years old and we homeschool using Miacademy. Most of his work is done using a laptop so we haven’t worked much on his handwriting or spelling. This is such a blessing. It’s a topic that he’s very interested in so he enjoys it and it incorporates sentence structure as well. I’ll definitely be purchasing more from Sky Pony Press

My little guy hates writing because he has adhd. This book encouraged him to practice writing in a fun way. He willing completed the book without complaints.

My homeschooled 8 year old son is obsessed with Minecraft and he is delighted by this workbook. It's great grammar and writing practice that he's happy to do because he gets to write about his favorite game.

I love this book so much!! I bought the book to supplement what my son is learning in school. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material! The writing prompts, sentences starters and paragraph starts are interesting and engaging. My son loves offering his opinion on Minecraft and it's a great way to channel that energy into writing!

My 6 y old is very advanced (obsessed) with math and enjoyed all math versions. I got him that one and he spent all day learning the parts of sentence, spelling etc. Great book for Minecrafters and kids who love to learn. will keep buying them as my son is going through one in few days.

Awesome education helping book. I recommend it to homeschooling parents as a resource to use.

I have used this for homeschooling to supplement my son's Language Arts curriculum. He hates writing, but loves minecraft. Being interested in the topic helps him to enjoy writing in this book.

This book was a hit with my second grade minecrafter!! When he can think about Minecraft and learn :) Mom points!!
