Levi's Women's Lightweight Cotton Military Jacket (Standard & Plus Sizes)

I rarely gush over any product. This is a decent jacket. It is perfect for Fall. Can layer it to stretch to a warm winter. It's more stylish than you would think when worn. The small details upgrades the coat. The quilted inner lining is posh. It's not cheap looking. Weight isn't for summer. At first, I wasn't into the hood. But it's not so obvious. Then the side pockets, now that is kind. If I needed another jacket would get this again. The fit: whoever wrote the sleeves are too short must be a knuckle dragged. The sleeves for mine paralleled the length of the jacket. I got the XS, and the fit was perfect for me, with room for layering. I sprayed mine with Scotch Guard as where I live we have fog, dew, rain. I even wore mine around the house, cuz I'm cheap we dont like to turn the heat on.

I bought this jacket because I was going to a hockey game in November that didn’t allow ANY bags into the arena; not even a small clutch was allowed (what a load of crap). It was that time of the month and I needed some additional pocket space for my stuff. So I bought this jacket because I didn’t have a lot of other options and I wasn’t going to skip the game because we travelled out of town to attend the game and bought expensive tickets close to the glass. Well let me tell you, this jacket is amazing and perfect and now I wear it all the time! I usually wear a size 12/14 or L/XL tops depending on fit. I’m 5’2 and a 38C. This jacket fits me perfectly. The length is great and the sleeves are not too long, which is so rare for me. If you are talk or have long arms, this will probably be too short for you. Although the sleeves are short, they are not narrow. Sometimes jackets can be too snug on my upper arms (they are thicc), but this one fits very well. If you have thin arms, or even normal circumference biceps for that matter, then the sleeves may be loose or baggy looking on you. All the pockets are great; so much room for storage. The quality of this jacket is excellent! There is a nice quilted style lining in the jacket and all the buttons and zipper are sturdy. The zipper was a little stiff at first but has since gotten better. The hood on the jacket is very large. Its definitely larger than your average hood but I like this because it will cover all of my head when my hair is in a high bun. Overall, I would say it’s a medium weight jacket. Great over a T-shirt on a chilly fall morning or a slid layer of warmth over a sweater, that’s how I wore mine to the hockey game. Now that winter is here, I wear it with a long sleeve top on days when the temps are above freezing. Honestly, if the outside temp is below 35°F then I’ll wear a heavier jacket because this one will leave me chilly. I bought this jacket as a quick solution to a lack of pocket problem but I didn’t expect to like it so much. I had actually purchased a similar jacket at the same time for $15 less. I was hoping at least one of them would fit because it was kind of a last minute thing. As soon as I put this one on, I knew it was perfect. I literally wore it around the house for an hour or so with the tags still on because of how perfect it fit and how impressed I was with the quality and storage. I would say it was love at first fit.

I adore this jacket! It looks exactly as shown, and it is exactly as described. Everything is perfect. The buttons are all attached very securely. The zipper works perfectly. The stitching is all perfect. It has a comfortable vintage look. The generous vertical pockets securely hold my phone, keys, anything that needs to be safe and secure. There is also plenty of room in the side pockets for tissues, dog poop bags, etc. It's so adjustable. At first I thought it was too small in the waistline- I have an apple shape. Then I found the strings to loosen the waistline for my shape, and it’s perfect. The lightly lined, generously sized hood is also very adjustable with its strings. I folded the sleeve cuffs one small fold and the sleeves are perfect. The part that you can fold up does not have the lining, so no lining shows if you fold the sleeves up a little. They can be unfolded if I want the sleeves longer. The shape goes in a little at the at the waistline, even after completely loosening the strings, and it does not look like a bulky box. It just covers my butt. I am 5 ft 1 inch, 128 lbs. This jacket is not oversized or bulky. I bought size Large. The lining is so comfortable with the outer cotton shell. The quilted lining is just right. The sleeves are lightly lined with material that is not quilted. The outer cotton does not give me a sweltering feeling like the coats that are all polyester do. It’s perfect for chilly, but not freezing, NY in between weather. For me, there would not be room to layer a sweater, which I never do anyway. It is just right with a light or medium weight flannel shirt, or a not flannel shirt. In addition to this jacket, I would love to have a lighter weight version for cooler summer or warmer spring days also. It’s adorable!

Don't size up! The jacket is true to size except out of proportion at the armholes. It's too small and narrow at the armhole and bicep which causes restriction from reaching forward. The across back is wide, so it's definitely an armhole fit issue. Levi's, please make sure that your fit model is moving her arms every way when she's fitting. It's a beautifully constructed jacket and looks very expensive. I bought the green and it's very army looking. The lining is quilted which keeps you warm. The fit is good except as noted above; elbows are roomy, chest through waist and hips fits fine, sleeves are a good length. I'll wear t-shirts with this so can deal with the armhole fit issue. To help you with sizing, I bought size MED, my chest is 36", hips 39" and 5' 3" height.

Love this jacket. Fits well, good quality. Perfect for early spring and fall.

This jacket is really high quality and feels like it'll last for years to come. It was a little bit of a splurge for myself, but I've been looking for a high quality fall jacket for a while. I ordered a medium, which is my usual top and coat size. At first, I thought it seemed a little large and long for a medium, but I think it'll be perfect for the fall with a hoodie or sweater under it, as well as for staying warm in the fall. If you're looking for a more fitted jacket, you may want to consider sizing down. I love the color, material, and details/hardware on this jacket, all of which add to its high end look and feel. It's also really comfortable and warm. I recommend giving this jacket a try, you might love it as much as I do.

I love this coat. I have owned one for years. It was time to replace it and I accidentally ordered the gray. The gray fit. The coat that I currently own is older it’s faded. I wasn’t sure if it was the gray or the military green because it was given to me as a gift. It looked like the gray, but I wasn’t sure. When I received it I realized I got the wrong color, I ended up ordering the green. The problem with the green is l, it looks like the same coat but it feels cheaper. The sleeves are way too short, and I compared by putting my older one on which is a smaller size, putting the gray one on and then putting the green one on again that I had just ordered. My older coat and the gray one the sleeves fit great the new green one they’re way too short. Also what I noticed with my older coat the tag inside it is red, with the gray one the tag inside is also red. The green one has a completely different color tag inside the coat. So honestly, I’m thinking that they are not the same coat. I don’t know if somebody else is making the green one, but it feels cheaper and the sleeves are WAY too short and the tags don’t match up. I’m returning the green one and I am ultimately going to keep the gray one. So beware if you purchase the green one, I don’t know if it’s a fake. I don’t know if it’s being made someplace else, but the quality is 100 percent NOT THE SAME. I will attach pictures to show. That said I love this coat, like I said I’ve owned it for years and I was looking for a replacement because the one I have is older and it is a little too small. The fit is great, it’s held up for years. It’s still holding up but I just wanted something that I could fit a hoodie underneath. It’s a midweight coat so it’s not gonna keep you super super warm. I live in Michigan I usually layer it with a sweatshirt underneath because we get some pretty brutal winters. I recommend it and honestly, I would’ve given it five stars had I not gotten the green one and realized it’s totally different. The first picture is the very first coat that I owned. You can see the tag is red inside. You can see the color I couldn’t tell if it was green or gray based off the pictures that are on the listing. The second one is also the one that I originally had wanted to post the color. The third photo I’m gonna post is the gray. I’m gonna show that that has the matching red tag show the color and then I’ll post the green one. I also put a photo of the sleeve of the one I have had and the one I just bought. Look at the size difference. Mine is so much longer. The color is also different which could be fading on mine it’s very different. Also the new one is way thinner.

This is a fabulous jacket. Keep in mind that it does run small. Be sure to order one size up from your normal size. I love the grey, it is super dark grey. And the lining inside is very silky, soft. This is not a light jacket or a heavy jacket. It falls somewhere in the middle category for warmth. I like that you can adjust the hood as well as the waist. There is a zipper along the length of the jacket in addition to buttons over the zipper.

I really like this jacket, it’s got lots of useful pockets, sturdy buttons well sewn in, it’s easy to zip and put on. With a lightly quilted lining it’s perfect for crispy cool days and evenings. The arms are a tad shorter than average, but I think that’s a Levi’s thing, as I have had an issue with that in the past so I ordered up one size to accommodate this, and found it fits perfectly regardless. So perhaps I’m not fully aware of my own dimensions? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d definitely recommend this jacket for both it’s functionality (I wear it with a backpack and while cycling through the city) and for it’s fashionability too. I really don’t see any weak seams, zipper snags or loose buttons. It was worth the money and it has free returns so it’s a safe purchase 😊

I had high hopes for this coat. XL fit perfectly in the bust and waist and hips, but was a bit snug in the shoulders and I would not be able to wear a sweater under this because my arms are apparently too fat and long. I don't think sizing up would help as the rest of the coat fits great. I would only recommend this if you have slender arms and narrow shoulders.

This jacket is beyond my expectations, The colour is as my expectations or beyond, fit I would say i am large and i ordered xl and it fits perfectly fine, so comfortable and some reviews says its heavy, its not at all heavy, according to quality i would say i was expecting a little heavy and it is as it should be. Overall i am in love with this jacket and to be honest i was waiting for this to arrive and see yhe fit and quality to ordered Navy colour too which iordered ASAP i tried it. Thank you
