I bought this for my husband when he came out of hospital having broken his pelvis in multiple places - it was easy to assemble although the pipes are quite stiff to get on , but they stay on - it’s a very large single size, nice and long and tucks in at foot if the bed - I didn’t want to get a hospital bed as he’s tall - it’s been going 24 hours a day for several weeks - the little engine is very quiet and sits under the bed - the switch has a noticeable green light so you can see if it’s on or off from a distance - I really recommend this - forget the more expensive ones ! I don’t know about long term but it’s certainly ideal for post surgery - thank you

Bought for an older relative after they had suffered a broken hip and were having to spend more time in bed. Box on ours came in a pretty poor state, but mattress and pump inside appeared unused. We tried it out at home before taking it abroad to our relative. The mattress is suprisingly long (it covered the length of our 200cm bed easily).Using it the first time you just need to make sure that you manually straighten out any kinks or it won't fill. Once that's done, it fills and works well.A word of warning - it's nigh on impossible to get all the air out if you want to pack it up again.Pump reasonably quiet. Our relative found it did give relief and they were definitely more comfortable. They were starting to get some sore areas and this seemed to halt that.Coincidentally, we also shopped for a seat cushion around the same time and ended up (not through planning) with one from Vive also. That was also excellent and helped our relative a lot.

This mattress is excellent value for money. And as mentioned in other reviews the pump is quiet and effective. There is also a YouTube channel from the manufacturers which gives a bit more information about the product, and they respond to queries.Unfortunately I had to return the mattress. This was because of the strong smell of plastic. I did air it for a few days, but the smell persisted. I am sensitive to odours, and this may not be an issue for other people.The return process went smoothly.

This mattress works well. Very basic compared to hospital type mattress. My Mum had no complaints about it.

I battle with chronic pain and fatigue and can often find myself in bed for days at a time or just be in a lot of pain when lying down. I was researching toppers for pain relief. I already have a good Sealy mattress with memory foam topper, but felt I needed something extra as battling to sleep.This topper arrived and firstly it is too long for a standard double bed. The topper tucks in under thick mattress and existing topper, runs from headboard and at the feet-end the bubbles folds over and around mattress….too long.The firm setting might as well say “sleeping on spare wheel” - too firm.Then in baby step increments, one can lower the firmness to the ‘morning after a night on a camping bed’Like someone else said - good idea - badly executed

Bought this for family member whilst recovering from a broken hip - found to be comfortable -a little noisy by helped with the recovery.

So far so good...3 months in and still working fine. 🤞 We Bought this for my elderly very poorly mum, who is prone to bum sores. We did have a NHS air mattress. But the head district Nurse had it removed because I smoke. Wtf.Ive never smoked inside my own house, never mind my mums house. Always outside, always.So we looked about and found this. And its been brilliant so far.For the price this is a Excellent product. And it's not often I can say that about products offa amazon.

Early days but so far so good. Air pump is think is pretty quiet not causing issue with sleep. The mattress part initially looked very flimsy like a holiday li-lo. Once attach to the pump with 2 push fitting flexible hose the mattress pumped up quickly. The mattress has lines of interconnected sections which inflate and deflate in turn. I'm a heavy 6 foot tall person and the mattress works well with me on it. I am now expecting the bed to last well as other reviews have said. 5 different hardness settings to suit all. Personally I prefer number 3.My skin is already showing positive signs after just a few days. A1 . Recommended by. I will update the review later should any changes arise

My mom has been using this for over a year and it has worked perfectly. It really helped with comfort and support.The material is good quality and durable. It even comes with its own repair patches, which is very useful in case it gets punctured.Overall, it’s a great product and definitely worth it.

The mattress arrived very quickly, but I could not use it as it was wired for American 120 volt instead of 240 volt Australian- my fault for not checking first. Returning it was managed fairly.

We had purchased this pad for my mother who had spent almost two weeks in the hospital and was unable to get out of bed and walk around. She had developed what they call “fishers” on her bottom in between her cheeks (tearing of the skin). My mother expressed how painful and uncomfortable this was for her and before we had purchased this pad, And we were trying to alternate her body position like they were doing in the hospital to relieve the pressure on her open wound. However this wasn’t working so I decided to try this pad out. After her almost two week Hospital visit, we used this mattress pad for her. My mother immediately said that she didn’t feel pressure anymore on that area and was actually able to withstand sitting directly on her bottom. Within about 3-5 days we seen her exposed skin start to scab up and heal itself.I do believe this pad works because when my mother would get out of bed and sit in her recliner chair or the sofa, she would still say that she felt too much pressure on her backside and would want to go back in bed and sit on her mattress pad. I say sit on her mattress pad in bed because we also purchased a large pillow wedge so she could actually sit up while in bed. We don’t have one of those fancy beds that can be adjusted to sit up in bed.This machine made absolute no noise which was amazing. It also was a great size (twin) that has longer flaps (flaps are thin and do not inflate) at the top and bottom of the pad to allow you to tuck in underneath your mattress pad to avoid it from moving around.We used this feature but we also used a rug grip pad that we already had at home. So I can’t say for sure if this pad stayed in place because of the flaps that are built in or if it was the rug grip pad that we used.The only downfall I can report on is threat my mother asked for the mattress pad to be a little less firm. The pump has a dial where you can adjust how firm the mattress pad gets. We adjusted it all the way to soft however from my perspective of just feeling the pad, it didn’t seem like the pad got any softer than when it was positioned at “firm” But my mother did say that it was comfortable to sleep in, however the 4 stars for comfortability instead of 5 stars is for the reason that the pad didn’t in her opinion feel like it got softer with the dial.This mattress pad was worth the money to see my mothers wounds heal and to give her immediate relief of them. I would definitely recommend this pad.
