I bought this with low expectation, mainly because we have a air purifier unit in our home in Finland which cost 400 euros and we are not happy with it. My partner suffers from allergies, multiple, so in our UK apartment I bought the Hathaspace. This is one ace product, attractive, good visual display, sleep mode (no illumination of front panel) and it is so good. Examples, I often clean my vinyl records with an alcohol based cleaner, it senses it, fan goes to top speed and quickly clear the air. The senser is good, much better than I am,you know what it is doing, the visual display tells you.The other day I was in the kitchen and it suddenly went to max speed, so I am looking at it confused. Then I realised that the process of me transferring my homemade wine from one barrel to another it had sensed the vapour it was giving off. This unit has improved the quality of air where we live, I need say no more. Thanks Hathaspce

Bought this for a health-related use as our son is currently in hospital & coming home soon, so we wanted to do everything we could to ‘clean’ the air in the house. Tested it in the main room where our stinky dog sleeps and it has amazed everyone - you can’t smell the mutt at all! The unit is very neat, sturdy, solidly built & simple to set up and get going....so we may well buy another one or two for other areas of the house. It’s very quite when running in ‘normal’ mode. The front indicator panel lights are pretty bright, so we may need to cover it for ‘night-time ops’ but no major problem.

Noise level really low especially in sleep mode. Cannot hear it at night. Other modes give powerful air transfer and cleansing. Filter is good value and available from amazon. Remote control is well made and airpurify has excellent build quality and operation. I am pleased I purchased this item. Cannot fault it!

This purifier is very good indeed. Not too small, more than up to the job good looking and not too large. This is also very quiet, and whisper quiet in sleep mode, mean you can have it on all night should you wish no problem. Another big plus is the remote control very easy to use. Hard to find a negative point however if you want to be picky the instruction manual isn't as comprehensive as it might be. It is however very easy to understand! The customer service is very good and are happy to answer any questions that you may have. All in all I rate this product highly, and would recommend it to anyone.

I have an African grey parrot who is a very dusty creature. In our lounge we have a Hi Fi cabinet with a very shiny top, which is my dustometer and needs dusting every morning, and I have a bit of asthma so I decided to try an air filter. I received the air purifier at 4 pm on Friday and put it into use at about 5 pm I run it until about ten then put it into sleep mode overnight. Saturday morning there was lest dust than usual which I dusted off and on Sunday Monday and Tuesday mornings to my amazement there has been no dust on my dustometer at all. or anywhere else in the room. I am most impressed with the device (well done Hathaspace) definite 5stars and if it proves reliable for a long period 5plus.

We have a parrot and were concerned about the amount of dust in the home. We bought two hathaspace air purifiers. One for downstairs and one for the bedroom. We are very happy with them and can tell a big difference in the air. It appears to be fresh and clean. We use the remote control which is easy to use. The noise level is low and you can hardly hear it. We have the bedroom one on sleep mode at night which is really quiet. The filters come off very easily so will be easy to clean.

I don’t write many reviews but felt prompted to give some feedback on this one. I suffer from rhinitis which disturbs my sleep, which is why I bought this. Really like it - very quiet. Even on the high setting it’s just a pleasant “whoosh” sound and quieter than most fans. Love the auto setting - it even senses when I sprayed deodorant and kicks in straight away. I love the faint coolness of the air caused by the air movement in the room. If I could change one thing it would be to make the display dimmer at night but it’s a pleasant green glow and hasn’t kept me awake yet. All in all very pleased by this.

We ordered the item in october and got it delivered to abu dhabi but as we live in bahrain we didnt receive the product until yesterday We opened the box remove the filters plastic and we tried to plug in bug unfortunately it is not working we tried on multiple connection points still it is not responding Can we know what can be done in this matter we purchased this for almost 1500 Aed and now it is not in use

[Orginal 5/31/19] I just got this, and was impressed, so I wanted to leave a review. So, the only other air filter I have used is a GermGuardian AC4825. It's roughly half the price (I paid $80 for the germ guardian, and it's made for about 167 sq.ft). This one, I paid $144, and I think I saw this should handle up to a 400 sq.ft room, although the description says, "In an average 350 sq. ft. room, our air purifier will completely exchange and replace the air 2 times per hour." Anyway, the Germ Guardian was good. it blows hard, and runs quiet, and these purifiers are so expensive, I thought I had found a good deal on price/performance/noise, because spending $100 on an air purifier seemed a bit much. One thing that bugged me though was how the grill on the front implies it will blow straight, but it actually comes out the corner of it. It works well, but I was hoping for one that would blow straight. This one sucks in the front and blows out the top. I wish it sucked in the back and blew out the front so I could use it like a fan in my office. But I like that it doesn't use a cylindrical fan, it uses a typical pressure fan, and a nice wide filter. This is expensive if it's your first air purifier, but I think it's worth it. I thought the other one was worth it, and this is less than double the price, and can clear more than double the room size, and it has more filters (the filters are clearly higher quality, I was impressed when unwrapping them). The air sensor is also really cool and one of the main reasoning I wanted to try this. The whole unit is just designed really well. I don't know anything about this brand, but it came across like a no-name Amazon brand, but I am very impressed with the quality. This is definitely a serious brand. The front panel is actually attached with magnets on the bottom and a half-hinge on the top. This was, it cannot wear out or break with repeated opening/closing like a pressure tab. One thing is that the auto-fan is unclear. If you set the fan speed and want to switch back to auto, how do you do that? I'm guessing I have to just turn the unit off and turn it back on? I wish it would have a dedicated button to turn auto on or off, and then let the speed setting be a min or max if auto is turned on. I will say about my old one, it must have been doing a pretty good job because I have a dusty office (attached to a warehouse in a very dusty/pollen field) and this thing ran on red for probably less than a minute before it went all the way down. Turning it off, then back on, it did the same process, so I guess every time it turns on it's red while it checks out the air.

I'll start off with my only issue. There definitely needs to be a 4th fan speed. The high level isn't as high/fast as I'd like, especially compared to other brands. I would love to try the new HSP002 model, but unfortunately I cannot afford it. I'm thinking its exactly what I'm looking for, especially in my large basement where our rescue kitties spend most of their time. So on to all the good points. I will be using this unit in my bedroom FYI. #1. The unit came fast once it finally shipped from Amazon. No issues crossing the border. It actually came 2 days early. I ordered extra filters as well which should do me for 10 to 12 months. #2. Setup is a breeze (zing). Take the unit out of the box, remove the protective plastic film from the unit. Pop the front off. Take out the filters and remove them from the sealed bags. Pop them back in (tabs facing out). Plug the unit in and away you go! #3. The unit appears to be decently made. Design. Fit. Finish. All good. I like the led display and it even came with a remote, which I wasn't expecting actually. All the filters appear to be nice quality as well. Although I wish the unit came with HEPA 13 filters, these are still great. #4. The ionizer works well. I won't actually use it often however as I am unsure how it affects pets. It's not just this brand, it's any brand. I haven't done enough research on the pros and cons of it. I'm sure it's safe but I cannot be sure as of right now. I plan on looking into it. The unit functions fine with it on or off so not a big deal. #5. Customer service. This company has great customer service. They answered all my questions. They were quick and courteous. No issues there. I will of course update my review as the months go by and I can't actually visualize how dirty the filters are. I've used many brands over the years and this is my first hathaspace unit so I'm happy to own one and try it out! I'd definitely recommend this unit. Just got this in a couple of days ago. I've been looking at air purifiers for several months and after the wife recently had a friend come clean the house, realized just how dusty our house had become. Living a few miles out of town in SW Oklahoma and it's WAY dustier than when we lived in town. So anyway, after the cleaning gig, decided it was time to get serious about choosing a purifier to try. Of course, there are literally HUNDREDS of them on the market so I've read many, many reviews. I kept coming back to 2 or 3 and then I noticed that Amazon had this one on sale at, what seemed to me, an affordable price. So, with the sale price, the features listed, and favorable reviews I pulled the trigger on this one. Took just a few minutes to load the filters and get it going. It's a nice looking machine and seems to be built well. Nothing really flimsy feeling about it. The front is lock-hinged at the top and uses magnets to close at the bottom, so that's cool. The filters are quality feeling and fit well. Nothing cheap-o looking about them. The machine runs almost dead-silent on low speed. Noticeable sound on medium, and could probably be used as a white-noise fan-sound on high. Using the remote is easy and you can switch through the options of having the status-display on or off, turn on the Anion ionizer or not, set the timer if preferred, and set it to 'sleep mode'. It also has an 'auto mode' for adapting to the air quality it senses by increasing or decreasing the fan speed on its own. I've initially set it to low speed with the ionizer on, and that's where I've left it. The wife asked me, "How do we tell if it's working?"............Ha, good question. I told her, "Well, I don't know, maybe we'll see less dust in the house at some point (with a shoulder shrug)". So anyway, fast forward a couple of days and she remarked, "You know I was cutting onions for our soup (she is cooking ALL the time) and threw the onions in the trash, and normally they stink up the house, but got up the next day and couldn't smell them at all". I got to thinking about it and she was right. No onion smell at all in the house. So maybe that's a clue that it IS working. So I've got it sitting in the main area of the house, which is the living room/dining room/kitchen combined. Probably about 600 sq. ft. My plans are to have several of them throughout the house, maybe like one in each bedroom and so forth. I have since found out, through searching, that the same model can be found on auction sites and other 'for sale' sites in various conditions such as 'used', 'refurbed', 'open box', etc.........and many can be found for half the price or less, which considering, is a GREAT deal. So with that I've ordered 2 more and can't wait to get them all in and going. Recapping; I think it's a great looking unit. I looked at another unit that was similar in size but watching the video it really looked cheap whereas this one does not. I like the fact that it has an ionizer and I can opt to turn it off if I want to. I like the other options of a timer and the sleep mode if I need it. And it does have an 'auto' mode that works off of a sensor to automatically change fan speeds as it sees fit by testing the air. About the only knocks I could give it are the status display is a little much, especially at night time. However, if you turn it off and the unit is on low speed then you really can't even tell that it's on and working. That happened to us, I turned the display off and wifey wanted to know why I had shut the machine off. So.........It'd be nice if the company offered a simple green light to let you know it's on if you didn't want to see the status. The other knock would be that a lot of other machines out there have a washable pre-filter whereas this one does not. Is it a big deal? Can't really tell for now. I'll update this several months down the line when it's time to change filters.
