With support for both metric and imperial units, it empowers users to customize their flow management experience. ## Description Suite Contents FlowScan: a stand-alone program that provides data logging and duct survey capabilities, FlowScan Add-in: A Microsoft Excel add-in that allows data logging directly into any Excel worksheet. FlowLink Library: Programming interface for: National Instruments LabVIEW 5 and 7, Microsoft Visual C++ 4, Microsoft Visual Basic 5, Borland C++ Builder 4, Borland Delphi 5, A serial cable, User’s guide and programming manual, Software customization is available and USB adapter is available. Software that captures and processes all FKT series outputs. FlowScan provides the user with an easy to use interface that logs user specified data from the manometer. The software also has full data post-processing capabilities, allowing the calculation and graphical presentation of duct flow parameters such as velocity, volumetric and mass flow rates in user specified units. The software has been designed for ease of use, and as such is extremely user friendly. FlowScan runs in Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP using an available serial or USB port to connect to the FKT instrument. FlowScan can operate in two modes: Data Logging and Duct Survey. Extendable: The available FlowLink library allows a user to create a custom program to access the FKT instrument using popular programming languages. Reads and Calculates: all available differential pressures, absolute pressure, temperature, stagnation temperature, relative humidity, gas density, gas velocity (even if compressible), volumetric flow rate (FlowScan only), mass flow rate (FlowScan only). Flow Surveys with Pitot tube (FlowScan only): FlowScan easily calculates volumetric and mass flow rate for rectangular or circular ducts. FlowScan will indicate where to put the probe for each survey point. The program will step through the survey at the user’s pace.
