Cap Barbell 47-Inch Standard Solid E-Z Curl Bar

Excellent quality at a bargain price. This EZ-curl bar is solid and well-balanced. All surfaces are well-machined and finished - no rough spots - and the knurled grip areas are easy on the hands. I only got it on the third try, though, because the first two times the packaging was damaged in transit and had to be returned to Amazon. When I finally received it, the cardboard shipping tube was broken and retaped, but the bar was fine. Definitely worth the wait!

I bought the black curl bar for the aesthetics of the color but having another Cap bar that is chrome the color matters. The black curl bar has passive knurling while the chrome bar has a more moderate knurling. I do prefer aggressive knurling and should have bought the chrome bar. Besides the grippiness of the black vs chrome finish the bars are equally good quality I debated which was better: a curl bar or a tricep bar. Decided on the curl bar because the range of motion is less restricted on some movements and more functional overall. The tricep bar doesn't allow the elbows to flare out much before being pressed into the plates.

The box and packing was a little bashed in shipping, but the bar was perfectly intact. The bar itself is fine, with a nice chrome finish and no defects, 5 stars for quality. I've got to say though, I hate this thing! I've tried every grip available, and they all feel weird and uncomfortable. If you've never used one, I encourage you to go to a gym, or a friend that has one, and try it first. If I had, I never would have bought it. I'm going back to my 5' straight bar, and will probably just give this one to Goodwill. In fact, I was considering returning to a straight bar...until today. I've finally found my "groove" on this thing, I think, felt OK this lift, so will continue using it for a while, and see how it goes.

Very good quality, very solid had 80 pounds on each side, did not bend. I had to purchase 2 more. The price is pretty amazing too. Shipping was pretty fast, not too bad. Definitely recommend it

Honestly, I was hesitant to buy this product at first. But I decided to take a risk, because the investment is relatively small. I also saw some good comments and wanted to try. Upon receiving the product and seeing its robustness, I was satisfied with this purchase. It's a solid, good sized bar. It has rough sections for better grip. I recommend this bar so that you have an excellent tool to increase your biceps, triceps, shoulders... And other muscles that you want to train. When placing the 1" discs these fit well, as well as the 1" hooks to hold. So far I have no objections against this bar. I will keep testing and using. Any changes I will let you know. Greetings.

Amazing bar I've had it in storage for 2 years and it's still not rusty

It's a 1" steel bar . Does the job well . I got the black finish because the crome finish sometimes flakes of and can cut you . Especially on the threaded version. Being used in commercial setting .

The item was damaged from both ends and the paint was damaged as well, looks like this will get rusty in winter. Also, either because it was a used/returned product or got damaged in the way while being delivered to my mailing address. The package it came shipped in was also damaged. Not too shabby for a cheap ezcurl bar. Loaded up with 100+ lbs and no issues, get gainz.

I like this product because its shape helps to hold with more control and bended to use on my shoulders for squatting. Although it took a long time to arrive, I am glad I purchased it especially the price for it! The quality over exceeds the expectation of this product! I have been using it daily since I received it and I love it!

Good bar. Fits 1 inch weight plate. Bar leaves residue on hand when I used it. It has rubber rings on the end to prevent damage when you put on the plates. Bar feels solid.
