Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated Shampoo and Conditioner

This is the only shampoo I've ever had successfully help reduce flakes and itchiness from seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. It has really minimal smell too which is nice.

I have 2C curls and color-treated hair. This stuff REALLY breaks down the gunk buildup on my scalp. I have eczema and seborrheic dermatitis and have awful reactions to regular hair products. It itches like crazy, and before I know it, there are scabs and dried blood built up on my scalp. Ok, enough about the nasty. That was to give you an idea of how bad it can get. In the shower, I focus mostly on lathering up the scalp. This shampoo can be quite drying, so I try to avoid running it through the ends of my hair. It slightly "conditions" which should really only be considered "detangling", because there is nothing about this product that makes your hair luscious. It's good enough to run a comb through when you're done washing your hair, and fairly soft, but you aren't going to see this product reduce frizz and breakage or add a lovely shine. Additional products for those things should be focused on the ends and stay far away from the scalp. I swear, managing scalp conditions is a torturous affair for those with dry, curly hair. There's no real scent to speak of. It truly is unscented. I keep trying other products (I'm obsessed with finding a scalp-safe product that leaves my hair with a lovely fragrance), but I just keep coming back to this unscented shampoo because it REALLY WORKS. It breaks down the buildup and zaps the itch within 2-3 uses. I hope this helps! I strongly recommend this shampoo. It has been a game-changer for my mostly black wardrobe and my bed pillows. I just wish I could find more scalp-safe products for enhancing curls.

I’ve been using this shampoo for several years, and it has made a noticeable difference in managing my scalp psoriasis. While it doesn’t completely eliminate every patch or flake, it significantly reduces flare-ups and keeps my scalp much more comfortable overall. Recently, I thought my scalp was doing well enough that I could stop using it, but that turned out to be a mistake(oops). Within a short time, my psoriasis flared up again and became extremely uncomfortable. After purchasing another bottle and starting back up, I’ve already noticed improvement. If you’re looking for a shampoo that helps control scalp psoriasis symptoms, I think this one is definitely worth trying. Just keep in mind that, at least in my experience, it helps manage the condition rather than completely clear it.

Product works and helps with the inflammation (especially if you are at the stage with head bumps, itchy skin and red patches). This helps removes the scales and medicate the inflammation. Please note, after using the product you will feel your head is squeaky clean. Perhaps if that bothers you, you may want to use a conditioner to soften it. I would recommend to use it every 3 days until you treat the inflammation and after, you can use it once a week.

I love this shampoo. I have scalp psoriasis, and the itching and scaling drive me crazy. It calms down the irritation. I also use it on the body. I’ve tried different brands, but this one was a God sent for me!!

Not sure it’s actually helped me with my scalp.

No me sirvieron, llevo un tiempo usando ISDIN pero decidí cambiarme a esta marca poco lo comentarios pero desafortunadamente no me sirvió para nada, parece que me brotó más🥺

This shampoo didn't really work for me. I'm giving three stars though because everyone's hair/head is different and a product that may not work for me, might work for you. So far I prefer T Gel by Neutrogena.

Ni en los comentarios, no en la descripción comentan sobre el efecto secundario del producto del cual solo me lo he puesto 2 veces me ha provocado tinitus del cual no me deja dormir, aparte toda la etiqueta viene en inglés viola la ley mexicana
