It's proved more durable than the pockets that contain it, which it has a tendency to wear through. If you often use cash, though, this is a frustrating wallet. The unprotected end-grain of the leather which lines the money slot grabs and holds bills too tightly, making them difficult to put in or take out. A vinyl liner would help a lot.
