“Metabo” Had Me Worried—Now It’s My Shed’s MVP
Let me start by admitting that a tool called Metabo had me bracing for something that sounded more like a galaxy-conquering robot than a humble shop companion. I half-expected it to arrive with its own user manual in Klingon. But after poring over the rave reviews and seeing the wallet-friendly price, I decided to give it a shot—and I’m glad I did. Unboxing & First Impressions The packaging was straightforward, no ancient runes or secret decoder rings required. The unit itself feels solid and well-balanced—no wobbling or rattling parts, just a sleek, professional-grade air tool. Performance Hooked up to my compressor, it fired to life with a satisfying hiss. From loosening stubborn lug nuts to driving long screws, it tackled every task with ease. Even when I challenged it with a gnarly, rusted bolt, it didn’t break a sweat. Comfort & Handling The grip is ergonomic without being bulky, and the trigger response is smooth. After an afternoon of use, my hand felt fine—no cramps, no blisters, just that gratifying sense of “I’m in control.” Durability I’ve already put it through its paces—some accidental drops and plenty of gritty shop time—and it’s still running like day one. Clearly built to survive more than a few “oops” moments. Value For the performance you get, the price is shockingly reasonable. It’s the kind of tool that feels twice as expensive as it really is—and in a good way. Final Verdict If the name Metabo made you pause, don’t let it. This is an air-powered workhorse that’s user-friendly, tough, and priced right. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just upgrading your home workshop, it’s a tool you’ll be happy to keep around. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

Gun for Trim, Molding, and Cabinets
The Metabo HPT NT65M2S is lightweight, powerful, and easy to handle. Perfect for trim, cabinets, and fine finishing work thanks to its precision and comfort. It includes a sturdy carrying case and works with 1” to 2-1/2” nails. Great value for both professionals and DIY users.

Great working tool.
This tool is great. I already owned a Metabo Nail gun and was trying to use my son's finish nailer (made by a different company). His wouldn't do the job I needed, so I ordered this. I checked with Amazon and my local big box store. The big box wanted 50.00 more for the same gun. It arrived quickly and I have shot over 3000 nails with it so far and no jams or misfires. It works perfectly. Side note... the big box lowered their price to match Amazon.

Basic Tool - Worked Well For My Purposes
I purchased this item more than two years ago, but I finally had the chance to use it in my kitchen. I'm not someone who has any history with this tool (nailer/finisher, in general), but I do have to say that once I had the air compressor set up according to the instructions which came with the nailer/finisher and it worked perfectly. As I understand it, higher-priced nailers come with their own regulator. This one doesn't, but it didn't cause any issue. I took a star off because the instructions do not show how to load/unload the finishing nails. All that said, it functioned as it should and had enough power - in my opinion - to perform basic finishing jobs. I was also able to use it for some loose door trims I had been meaning to attend to - no issues there. It's worth the money, but it is a basic nailer.
