It is cheap and just a nice, thick cream. The best quality of this cream is how moisturizing it is. Maybe I wasn't doing the application technique I've read about (wetting your clean face, then rubbing the cream in your hands and patting it into your skin). I'm quite lazy with my beauty maintenance so I just slathered it on and rubbed it into my face like any regular lotion.
