Good STEM Project for Middle Schoolers
This thing was a hit with my students. Putting it together was pretty straightforward, and the instructions were clear enough for them to follow with minimal help from me. The hand actually grips stuff, which is cool, but don't expect it to lift anything too heavy. It's a good way to show how muscles and tendons work. I wouldn't say it's super durable, but for the price, it's decent. Definitely a fun project that gets kids thinking about science. Everything we needed was in the box, so no last-minute runs to the store. I'd say it's spot-on for the 8+ age range.

Do not buy
Comes disassembled. There is no reason to have product disassembled. The box could fit a fully assembled robotic hand. The assembly requires you to push string which is ridiculous.

Broke shortly after assembly
My son liked building it but it broke pretty much immediately after that.

More string
Fun to put together but the string is a bit short so it’s challenging to tie them pullies.

DIY for kids
Not that cool and is useless after making it’s too loose and serves no purpose

Good
Good product for a kid to play. Easy to use depends on the age of the child, for a 10 old child he manage to do by himself.

Difficult to Assemble
Cool when put together but don't expect a child to do it—mine threw it in frustration. Took me an hour to assemble due to threading freyed thread.
