Speeds up work with fewer safety worries
I love this product, used on the Microjig GRR-100. I need to rip a lot of thin and thick stock into narrow pieces, and I'm very safety conscious. So I not only measure twice--or more--for accuracy, I worry constantly about safely guiding material past the saw blade. Using this 1/8 inch accessory on the GRR-Ripper, I'm able to push through most of my cuts at full speed, knowing that a push stick or other item used to push--including my hand--is completely out of the way. Using the gripper also means that the wood doesn't slip away from the fence. The result is saved time, accurate cuts, no burn on the wood, and improved safety. Great product.

Works great
Works great just like all of the Microjig products that I have. I won’t use my tablesaw without it.

Adds Safety and Flexibilty
Part of the beauty of this product is its adaptability, but with that flexibility comes complexity--it is worthwhile to take the time to learn the features and uses of the GRR-Ripper before putting it to use in your shop or on the job. For most cuts the GRR-Ripper is very easy to use and it makes many cuts much safer. I have used it for ripping 1/8" trim with no kickback or blade burn. It makes virtually all routine cuts work better and I am very pleased with the safety and adaptability it adds to my table saw work. I consider it a must have for my wood shop. The GRR-Ripper expands a table saw's usefulness and safety. I have watched the video that comes with the GRR-Ripper a couple of times to insure that I understand its features and safe use. From my personal experience it appears that the manufacturer's claims are true.

Great for narrow rips - Should come with the GRRR-Ripper, but you need this
Personally I think this should be included with the GRRR-Ripper. This leg is great for narrow rips. It holds the wood stable and there's no need to give into the urge to try to force the piece down and into the fence. The GRRR-Ripper and this leg naturally keeps the piece upright and against the fence. A recent conversation with someone smarter than me left me thinking about using a sacrificial push stick for these cuts. Makes a lot of sense, but I hadn't thought of that before. As I mentioned in my review for the GRRR-Ripper, there are times when this leg can't seem to grip the wood enough to advance it. Pushing down harder only makes things worse. Often times when I need this leg I'm ripping small narrow pieces and I wish this leg had a hook to help pull the piece through. If you're using the GRRR-Ripper you probably want this leg.

Micro Jig makes some of the best tools for keeping your hands away from spinning blades.
I have always used a thin push stick when cutting thin strips. I've had Micro Jig's big push jig sitting there for all my bigger pieces. Getting this made a lot more sense. Instead of trying to grip a small push stick I could use my Micro Jig with the nice big comfortable grip and not just try and push the piece of wood through, but hold it down to the table while pushing it through at the same time. Comfort and safety all at the same time. I love all their expendable parts. Better them than my fingers or hand.

Saved my hands many times already
I just ordered two more replacements, as the tail end of mine is slowly getting chewed away, probably from slight inadvertent hand movements toward the end of my cuts. Using this accessory, I'm able to maintain controlling pressure throughout the cut, and keep my hands well above and shielded from the blade. I'm not sure I could accomplish what I'm doing any other way. Producing a large number of box walls, I'm ripping 1/8" thin x 2.5" tall strips on my table saw using this accessory. It can be slightly scary, and I've definitely had some slipping issues where I'm certain the Grr-ripper and this accessory saved my hand / possibly life. I'm not sure how one would go about ripping such dangerous dimensions otherwise. Only caveat I've found is that after several hundred cuts, eventually the piece gets worn away by the blade and will need replacing. However, as stated above I'm almost certain that is due to user error. Overally highly recommend, and would not advise attempting such cuts without it.

This is an accessory for the Gripper which helps provide increased accuracy to cutting small strips of wood on the table saw. I always was concerned with safety cutting small pieces and invariably my push sticks would get cut as well. With these you can safely and accurately cut small strips of wood. This is a must have for a hobbiests who build small boxes or inlays wood that needs to be thin. For me I have been trying to get away from buying all my wood from stores. I know travel the neighborhood and find cut wood stumps that I dry, cut on my bandsaw and now can cut on my table saw. For someone who wants to take wood from the tree to the project this works really well.

Excellent addition to my grr gripper 200. Had to order from global worldwide as no one in the uk seems to stock it. The American's certainly know how to develop and products for their woodworking community. Despite coming from the USA it only took days. I've waited over a week for a delivery from my same town before now. Excellent all round would highly recommend
