They work!
My 15 lb black cat came with a contract that he would never be declawed. That's great, but he has needle sharp claws that seem to come out at the worst times. I've tried other claw covers, but they didn't work as well as these Soft Claws. I love the gold glitter color, and they look great on my black cat. The adhesive works great, the covers fit easily over his claws, and they stay on longer than other brands we've tried. He manages to get one or two off each week, but it just takes a minute to pop on a fresh one. I use them on his front feet only. I clip his back nails (just the sharp tips), and don't want to bother with them. If you haven't used claw covers before, you'll need to get your cat accustomed to having it's feet handled. Practice before you try to use the covers! You have to have the claw out of it's sheath to put the covers on, so practice that for a week or two before you add glue and a foreign object into the mix! My cat was already used to me cutting his claw tips off with nail clippers, so adding the covers was not a big deal to him. He loves to be brushed, so I take him into the bathroom and use the counter. He lays on the counter and likes to hide his head in the crook of my arm while I hug him pretty close to me. I then clip his nails, pop on a new cover (I prefill three or four with glue- it seems to work fine if it sits out in the cover for a couple minutes before applying) and then he gets a nice brushing and a kitty treat. Not traumatic! Good luck!

Solid Product
These are my favorite and while I am not sure my cat is into them as much as I am, he doesn't put up any fight when its time to put them on. They are super easy to use, the adhesive is a good strength, and they're sparkling gold! They've saved our furniture and our skin numerous times!

Ends my worry of my cat climbing out the windows and falling
These are really helpful to prevent my cat from climbing the screens of the sliding door and windows of my apartment balcony. I live on the 10th floor in a residential area right next to a very busy, multi lane road. She loves sitting by the screen door just taking it all in, even though she is blind. But sometimes she can’t hold herself back from wanting to climb to get a random fly or bird. I worry her weight (she’s a bit over 10 pounds now) could break the screens and she’d be out on the balcony with the danger of falling. The nails do fall off naturally after about 3-4 months. I’ve had to watch them put on by a vet technician in the past because my cat won’t let me even cut her nails; they go on quick and stay fast if you can do it yourself or know someone who can do the nails. For a short while, she does tries to scratch at the rug to get them off but she gets use to them quickly. I would use them regularly if I could find someone who would apply them for me in the area.

Work very well
These are a great alternative to declawing your cat. They were pretty easy to put on and have stayed on pretty well. They look really cute and my cat had no trouble adjusting to wearing them. Will definitely continue to use. The first time I put them on I did not use the special narrower glue caps so be sure to find that within the packaging. My vet loves these.

Great alternative to taking off kitty's claws with the surgery
Great alternative to taking off kitty's claws with the surgery.... easy to put on once you get the hang of it... just clip cat's nails, put glue in all 10 of the soft claws, and stick them onto claws rapidly.... and they are cute, and prevent furniture from getting wrecked when cat tries to 'sharpen' her nails.... great invention!

Seller Shipped Item with Dried Glue Tubes
I’ve used Soft Claws in the past and they work great! Unfortunately, this seller shipped me a package of soft claws with expired adhesive. The glue was rock hard in the tubes, already dried and couldn’t be used. So now I have to track down adhesive to apply these and wait until it arrives while my kitty scratches up my home and kids. Very unhappy!!!!

hard to apply
Overall I do like this product. I go the solid purple and the gold glitter and both are super cute when they are applied. My cat is very passive and doesn't really get bothered by us touching his paws so it was easy to get them on but for other squirmy cats... buyer beware.... my biggest complaint with this is the way the applicator functions. It is very complicated to get the glue through the applicator and into the claw cover. The pieces don't line up great enough and if you're not super careful you will end up getting super glue all over the place. It took my boyfriend and I together to get the claws all filled with glue using the applicator... definitely a two person job. Other than that, once we got the claws on they were great. My cat chewed on them a little bit but really wasn't bothered by it until his claws started growing out. One or two fell of in a week or two but the majority stayed on for much longer. Only giving 3 stars because of the applicator system... they make it seem a lot easier than it is.

I am pleased
So far I have been pleased with my purchase. My cat is easy going when I comes to clipping his nails so putting these on were no trouble. I will say that it can be hard to tell how much glue is actually in the nail cap (all but two from the first round came off after a day). I used better lighting the next time and it was a week before I lost one. He doesn't seem to notice them and they don't affect him using his nails, they only keep the nails from tearing up furniture and my hands. I give the product 5 stars because it is way better than declawing and I've not been scratched by him since.
