Gets hot fast - It's great
The Cusimax 1800W upgraded electric hot plate is awesome. This is the best hot plate I have ever purchased. Believe me I have tried quite a few over the years. This one works great, and the water boils quickly. It is easy to keep clean. I am so happy I purchased this hot plate. It far exceeded my expectations.

Iโve been using this CUSIMAX double burner for a week now, and Iโm honestly impressed. It heats up way faster than my old coil-style hot plate the infrared ceramic technology is no joke. Boiling water for pasta takes about the same time as a regular stovetop. The dual controls are a lifesaver. I can cook rice on one side and simmer a curry on the other, each at completely different temps. The glass top is super easy to wipe clean (no scrubbing burnt-on spills), and the stainless steel body feels sturdy, not cheap. Itโs compact enough to leave on my counter, but Iโve also used it for hot pot at the table. For dorms, apartments, RVs, or just needing extra burners during the holidays this is a solid buy.

Takes 20-min to start boiling 1 gallon waterโ ๏ธ Hot to touchโ ๏ธ Relatively cheapโ ๏ธ yep...
Overall Burner quality: Decent looking metal surface with printed "white marble" design enamel coating. Entire unit is surrounded in a shell of sheet metal which becomes quite warm to the touch (some would consider it hot) even operating only 1 of the 2 burners on high. Both burners running on high settings makes the entire surface *(including the temperature control knobs!!)* likely too hot for most to touch with bare hands, so gloves or mitts are probably necessary for most operators of this thing. Each burner is 900W, max. They do NOT balance 1800W between them as may be implied in ad headers. In other words, using only 1 of the 2 burners will not allow that burner to use the full 1800W, unfortunately. This seems like a very easy thing to implement in such devices, so I can only assume they would NOT do it in order to use cheaper overall build materials that only have to withstand 900W of single-burner heat output... any single 1800W burner will necessarily be encased in and wired with more robust materials. Alas, 900W max burner units are cheaper because they're... well... cheaper. ๐ Works well: ...enough. At my elevation of about 700' above sea level, one (preheated bare) 900W infrared/ceramic burner at full power takes about 20 minutes to reach a gentle simmering boil of a gallon of water, which appears to be the best boiling it can do for my test pot: *Test pot is 6Qt capacity, filled with about 4Qt of our well (spring ๐คค) water from the tap. The pot's bottom plate precisely covers the full diameter of the heated ceramic surface, exactly. Fwiw, the pot is a Carote brand, detachable-handle, ceramic nonstick coated, aluminum pot with a mild-steel-insert baseplate for induction-readiness. I'll attach a video. Why did you pick this product vs others?: So far, it's worth about what I paid for it. I.e., not more than 80 bucks.

Burner was damaged after first use
I like the way the hot plate looked , it was very easy to clean . After just the first use a small place on the burner seemed to be peeling, I wished I'd taken a picture of it before sending it back . The other thing I did not like that both burners were the same size and 900 was just not efficient for high temperature cooking like frying. I ended up ordering a different model.

Good for galivanting around the country
We bought this hot plate for a summertime road trip around the Southeastern United States. My wife and I like to eat healthy, which can be difficult and expensive while on the open highway. This portable, two burner stove changes that dynamic completely. Yes, we could order out healthy food daily but that would be terribly costly. Despite the fact we each will probably be making over $100K by yearโs end, nothing beats making a warm, nutritious meal while cowering in fear, double bolted inside a freeway adjacent, Dallas based Motel 6. I know what youโre thinking โDonโt hotels frown on hotplates?โ. The short answer is โYesโ, but when room next door is cooking meth, the proprietors donโt mind the delicious aroma of chicken tikka masala emanating from the refrigerator-less room with the broken shower rod they shamelessly offer up as accommodation. The burners are powerful enough to boil eggs or heat a cast iron skillet, the latter which comes in handy should a crack head on ketamine break the 99-cent chain lock the hotel passes off as security. But if that doesnโt do the job, the rigidity of the hotplate apparatus combined with the excellent heating efficiency of the burners thrust swiftly about the cheek should put a stop to any drug addled assailant via the miracle of physics and thermal dynamics. I havenโt had to bludgeon anyone just yet claiming he is the reincarnation of Harry Truman, but when I do, I am confident the stove tops will work just as good as when I removed them from the box. Excellent product and a high recommend.

Works well
Very nice looking and works very well. The only con is the burners only heat centrally on bigger pots or frying pan but that is my fault for not checking burner size.

Awesome find!
Look no further for your next portable cooktop! I've owned a similar product from a different brand in the past and, unfortunately, it wouldn't work with some pots and pans. This one, however, exceeded expectations! It's quiet, easy to use and clean, and super light (which makes it easy to carry around).
