Mastectomy Drainage Pouch and Shower Support Adjustable Comfort (Pink)

It worked great. I had 2 drain tubes after a tummy tuck and I regret not buying this on day 1. the pouch thing for showering worked great. I wore it while at work to keep my drain tubs safe from being pulled or snagged, the band did not bother me because it is soft.

This is super helpful, game changer. I had another operation, but I loved this so much. Feels like OK you can survive a week without it, right? But there is so much discomfort in post op, and espessially in having drainage - that those small pouches really add comfort. The bulbs are not pulled out of you in restroom, easier to take shower, or bathroom. Definitely good purchase. I have pj with pockets for drainage - this is much more versatile, pj are not bad, but this is super helpful.

I’m giving this 5 stars for the shower pouch. I didn’t use the belt holder but the mesh shower pouch was a life saver. It worked perfect for my four drains. Made showering so much easier during recovery. Worth every penny.

I had a tummy tuck and at my 1st follow up appointment, the nurse mentioned that you could buy a "drain holder belt". Going from having to use clips to hold the drains on my clothing (and them falling which was extremely painful), to this belt was a game changer. The pockets are moveable and the belt is soft on the skin. The pouches are great quality. It also came with a mesh bag that I used for showering. I was able to place the drains in it and adjust the length so that they weren't pulling.

I love this thing!!!! I had a mastectomy and ended up spending 2 extra days in the hospital and they use big safety pins to keep your drains together and pinned to your hospital gown. I knew watching the nurses pin and unpin them every couple hours that I would 1) not have the patience 2) probably poke a hole in something and 3) probably stab myself more times than not! So I ordered this product and it was waiting for me when I returned home. Now it may not truly be necessary or a life saver but honestly everything that you go through and grin and bear it give yourself a little TLC and buy this! Not only is it the pink belt thing that I wear 24/7 but the white little pouch thing, which I didn't even realize it came with it, is amazing for trying to sit in the bathtub. My drains (4 of them) can't get wet so if you want to shower you have to wrap yourself in plastic wrap! With the limited motion and not wanting anyone to wrap me up that is a no go for me. With the little white pouch I put my 4 drains and tubing in it and shortened the strap so they sat on my chest. This way I could soak in the bathtub up to my lower stomach and not have to worry about the drains and tubing. I know it sounds ridiculous but when you get to this point a little bath with some Dr. Teals is more amazing than it ever was before hand! I only have "washed" them twice by hand but they still look like new!! So I 1) highly recommend 2) am very sorry you have a reason to buy and 3) I wish you love and luck on your recovery ❤️ 💜 💙

Wish the belt was a little better made. The shower necklace worked pretty well and dries easily.

I recently underwent single mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction. These drain harnesses came in clutch. I had four drains, and the pouch around the neck could easily hold all four of them, even if they were filled. You can wear the pouch around the neck as you shower as well. It also comes with a hip belt that is fully adjustable and comfortable. There are two pouches that can easily hold for drains. I wear this during the day mostly, and would sometimes sleep in it as well. It helps keep everything wrangled and from getting all tangled as well.

This was by far my favorite mastectomy accessory. It was so easy to use and lightweight and comfortable. It kept my drains hidden and was just a cute little thing around my waist that didn't look medical or gross. So thankful I had this.
