Waterproof Printed Wide Calf Rain Boot

The boots are bigger than my normal size. Because they are just boots with no arch support i put spongy arch supports inthem. They fit a lot better and feel better. Nice boots.

I tried several snow boots but nothing fit my muscular calf’s. Most boots are 14-16” shaft and decided to try wide calf 16-18” and it fits! There’s also a buckle in the back you can make it smaller or larger which is great if I want to wear thicker socks. Foot bed is cushioned and round toe gives a little more room for my toes. Wasn’t sure I’d like the look of the boots but looks great. I did read there’s an odor, rubber boots usually do but I put Gain Dryer sheets in each boot and smells fine.

I was desperate for new boots that weren't expensive because a reaction to medication has caused my ankles to swell. Since most shoes are made in China these days, it is hard to find a good fit and they don't seem to know what it means when you want a "wide" shoe. Despite that and that I had to order a 6M inst4ad of my normal size - 6 1/2, they fit and fit well! They must run a 1/2 size larger, which worked out for me as did the 'wide' calf. They fit comfortably. I like that they are sturdy and waterproof. It recently stormed with rain and snow and my feet have been kept dry while walking and shoveling snow. They are heavy and well made. The reason for the 4 stars is that the buckle in the back will not stay closed. I'd deduct only a half point, but there is no way to do that.

Well done. A boot with room for a larger calf PLUS a sock PLUS a pant leg. These are the boots. I didn't even have to open the back up very much and then you can tighten them to keep everything smooth. Small icky part - the polka dots on the back flap. Why? No need for that pattern at all. If you wanted some flare to add a more up-to-date look. Love polka dots but pink and purple - too childish. Easy to overlook for the comfort of these boots. These don't hurt the front of the foot at the bend link many rain boots. The footbed is amazing. The height is great too. I usually a 5-5.5 and the 6 was perfect.

I bought these to replace some ancient snow boots that were always a bit more thermal than I needed and now aren't all that waterproof. I wish these were the answer, but they're not. At least not for me. The good: The gusset on the back really does allow for a larger calf. I have wide feet, and I was concerned the extra space wouldn't apply to the foot as well, but it did. Plenty of room. The lining is nice, and they're not too bulky or hot. As rubber boots go, they're surprisingly comfortable and not bad looking. The bad: The insole is ridiculously flimsy, and it got sucked completely out of the boot out every time I pulled my foot out. It's a small thing, but annoying. Something was off with one of the buckles over the gusset, and it would pull loose no matter what was done to tighten or secure it, so the gusset was always flapping wide behind a loose strap. There appears to be some sort of coating over the rubber, and in the places where it bends in the gusset, there are already the start of cracks in it before the boots have even been worn. And while I know these aren't designed to be snow boots, the soles are smooth enough for me to doubt their traction on even rain-slick pavement.

These boots are amazing! I have large calves (18 1/2") and finding boots that fit without being tight at the top + give room for pants has been all but impossible (to the point that I just stopped looking for anything taller than ankle boots altogether). I needed some nice water proof mucking boots that would allow me to do outside work and tend to animals without ruining my good shoes and weren't a pain to throw on quickly (I abhor anything with laces or that requires me to furiously shimmy my feet into). I was afraid these would be sloppy big or wide at the ankle making them look over sized all over when I only needed extra room at the top - these were perfect! There's a pleated area at the top of the boot with an adjustable band that allows you to customize the fit beautifully. These also slide on and off like a dream! I can quickly slide them on in the morning to go tend to the chickens and slip them off easily without making a mess or needing to touch them with my hands. Seriously, these boots are cute and have been a god send. If you have trouble finding cute mucking/rain boots to fit your calves and have lost hope, do yourself a favor and get these -- you'll be so happy that you did!

I have wider feet and usually wear a 9 1/2 in tennis shoes. I ordered a 9 wide and it perfectly. This is my 2nd pair of Western Chief rain boots and I will probably stick with this brand for future rain boots. They fill good on my feet and I like the designs

Size was exactly as expected, with enough room to add some wool socks for warmth. Great for the snow or beach combing.

Très belle pair de botte. Comfortable et chaude pour le temps du printemp. Je l'ai achetée pour marcher dehors et à date aucune ampoule ou le besoin de de prendre la forme de mon pied pour agrandir. Elles sont très comfortable!!
