These bowls are excellent quality. The glazing is thick, smooth and also covers the bottom so that they do not absorb moisture. Easy to clean and nice heavy weight even for rabbits. Highly recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My guinea pig Summer only needs a small bowl for dry food. Her bowl was this size and color. I was cleaning her cage and dropped her bowl on the floor. Its wasn't the first time I have done it. Only this time it broke. I needed a replacement as soon as possible! I came looking for the same brand and size and found it. Bought it and it was here fast. If you have a single small animal, this bowl is just right! Best part I know this bowl is really good, and if you drop it? I hope it doesn't break. Good price too! Sturdiness: I have had this bowl and have dropped it only to have it not break.

I used this for jewelry and it is the best. It is small, sturdy and easy to clean. It doesn't slip. The appearance is just as it is described.

We do wildlife rehab, and I have been using these for the orphaned squirrels. The little hoodlums chew anything plastic and have flipped over the little ceramic dishes I had put in the cage. I have one of these 5-inch bowls filled with water in the cage with two brothers, and it has never been tipped over or had any significant splashing. Another 5inch bowl is filled with food in the cage with a fox squirrel, and she has never flipped that. It has really cut down on the food falling through the cage into her waste tray. It is heavy enough that it would be difficult to tip, even when just filled with food. A single gray has a 3-inch bowl filled with food which she does not seem to have flipped, though I'm sure she would be able to do so with no difficulty, she just is less destructive than the boys. The finish is smooth, with a uniform glaze, and they rinse out easily. I have ordered another one of the 5-inch bowls.

It did say that it was 3-1/2 inches but I didn’t see that when I ordered even for a mouse it’s small. It was a great bowl very heavy weight as it’s real clay. Good quality made. It was white inside it was cute just small.

I got this as a bird food bowl. My macaw likes to pick up her food bowl and toss it onto the floor (along with the food). I figured this was too heavy for her to pick up but that booger is surprisingly strong. She likes to push and scoot it around.

I got this for my daughter's pet rat because he kept picking up his other one and throwing it. The one was just heavy enough to keep him from doing that. It held enough food for him to get through to his next feeding as well.

I only gave 4 stars, since I was under the impression the bowl would be a little thicker, but it does keep his water cool. Nice and easy to clean, and a nice size. Doesn't move around like some other bowls do when less full. Sanitary and I like the look alot better than stainless, but that's just me. Good price too!

This is a good dish for pellets. It holds a little over 1/4 cup of pellets - which is perfect for a day's feeding for 2 guinea pigs. It is solid, well made and easy to clean in both dishwasher or sink. I use the larger version (5") to feed veggies, treats or hay.

I use this for my guinea pigs for both feeding vegetables and sometimes treats or special hay. I really like it because it will NOT tip when the guinea pig stands on the rim. As well, because they have to stand on the rim and reach in to get veggies, it provides some exercise and movement for the pig they wouldn't get otherwise. Well-made and washes well in dishwasher or sink. This particular bowl is too big for pellets - I use the same brand of bowl for pellets, but it is 3-inch (which holds about 1/4 cup, enough pellets for a day for 2 pigs).

Nice thick bowl that is the perfect size for my hedgehog. Heavy enough not to be pushed around or tipped over.
