The collar it came with had a cheap clip that he managed to break off and chew. This is a belt style buckle he can't get out of. It's thin enough to thread through the bark collar. It is long enough for him to grow into. He's a Cane Corso and is still a puppy. He's got about 8 holes left so definitely room to grow.I noticed some reviews said that it wasn't good for leash walking. I would definitely NOT recommend using it for leash walking. I don't even think that it what it's intended for. It's just a strap to use with an E-collar. Without the bark controller on it, we can grip it easily to lead him around by hand when necessary. It's sturdy for that but my dog is powerful enough to snap it if he pulled hard enough on a leash. We use a Herm Sprenger prong collar for training and walking.I gave 4 stars because the end sticks out, wobbles, and looks goofy. I think there should be an additional little loop that can slide to hold the end down.
