We recently began humidifying two rooms of our home for health reasons, and wanted to be sure we kept the humidity in a good range. Each room requires a different amount of humidity, so to test the accuracy of these monitors I put them side by side for a day in the largest room, and they were within a couple of degrees of each other... acceptable for the price paid. Depending on several factors (outside temperature, outside humidity, amount of accessory heat in the room), we find ourselves adjusting the fan settings on our humidifiers quite a bit to acquire a consistently mid-range humidity. This would not be possible without the read-outs from these little monitors. They are rather inconspicuous, and have a sturdy, built-in stand.
