**Q: How many amps can they handle?**
A: Do you mean how many amps until they instantly vaporize or how many amps until the insulation slowly melts off? Im going to guess 10ms at 600amps will vaporize. 
Seriously dont use these for more than a couple hundred milliamp.These are for carrying small signals at relatively low frequency for prototyping.

**Q: Can the male pin be removed so that it is female?**
A: No, their structure is different.

**Q: Has anyone used these wires with a flirc case on their raspberry pi?**
A: These cables will work with FLIRC boxes.

**Q: What wire cutter/wire stripper should i buy for this and what is the correct size?**
A: The big advantage of buying pre made jumper wires is that u dont need wire strippers/cutters. All u do is just plug them into ur breadboard to make a connection. No cutting, no stripping. Just make sure u buy male to male if ur use is breadboard specific. Another advantage, however, is that they also come in female so u can interface to male headers. Just plug them in.

These are by far some of the better Mini-PV/Dupont style jumper wires I have seen. I ordered the 120pc Assorted 20cm set and I am not disappointed. Super flexible, and very easy to separate each 40 conductor ribbon into single or multi-wire groups. I measured the lengths of my assorted sets and they were all approximately 21cm from housing end to housing end. This does not include the length of the male pins which would add an additional 6.3mm to 12.6mm depending on M/F or M/M types. The male ends (which I tried to show in the attached photos) are crimp type terminals and will look rolled into a somewhat square "u" pin shape. This is how crimp terminals would typically look, and they work just fine. I tested the male ends on several different breadboards and a few different female headers on various pieces of equipment and these crimp style pins hold well enough. I even tested these on one of the worst-ever "DumpsterFire™" brand breadboards I've ever had the misfortune to own, and they still worked. The female ends actually rank a bit higher on the retention force as they make a fairly snug fit. In all I would definitely recommend this product, and will likely be picking up a couple of different lengths to add to the arsenal.
