I have purchased some 800+ down pillows (Downtown Alexis) that were "standard" fill of 16oz (in standard size) but this overfill pillow blows it out of the water. It's hard to even shove the thing in a pillowcase. I think the silk cover would make it easier to slide it, but we use encasements on our pillows and mattress to protect from spills, dogs, sweating, etc. and they have a terry cloth exterior, making it take a little more effort to get it in the pillowcase. On the plus side, the older king pillow I removed to add this one still looked bleach white after having been in the encasement for several years (more than I can say for the pillows we have not used encasements for). Some people might be put off by the high amount of support with the overfill but if you are used to normally sleeping on two pillows, this one on its own would probably work great.
