You can bet these are probably the best all-around gate latches available. Great for the price, will likely last a lifetime, double-sided, super easy to use/install. I installed them on my parents fence and they love them. I had a friend help me install them and even he was somewhat amazed at the durability and reliability you get for the price. This is one of those products I think everyone agrees is great and has somewhat taken its place as one of the best - if not the best - designs out there!

We use these on all of our gates. One finger to open, no hands to close. Easy to install and adjust. Use the set screw if you are using them on round pipe and have horses than lean on gates or they will eventually twist around and open.

This latch goes up quickly and works great.

This is a heavy duty gate latch and works well. I installed it myself and it wasn't terribly difficult. It opens easily with one hand and closes by giving it a shove. It latches every time. The reason for the 4 stars is that the latch did not include the hardware to install it. I had to go to the hardware store and buy heavy duty hex screws. I am okay with having to buy them but the description should state that the screws are not included so you could have what you need to install it when it arrives. I would still buy another one but I know now that I have to get the hardware in advance.

Worked great! These are my new standard for all my gate latches. One friend said they were too easy to use. I would recommend making sure to use the most solid mounting hardware possible to offset the slamming some people are prone to do. Through bolting would be best over lag bolts.

Seems to be good quality and easy install. If you are wanting to put a lock on it it will only keep the honest people out. The flat iron used for the lock would be easier to cut or break than the lock would be but it self catches and locks perfect. Using it between cows and bulls and hasn’t failed yet!
