Received two days ago, about noon. Set in full sun for rest of day. Being a night person, all units were still still putting out more than enough brightness to illuminate an area of about 5 feet even after 3AM!!, might have been still going at sunup but I did not stay up ALL night. One thing to forewarn about this item- be as careful with them as if you are handling a light bulb. They are not THAT fragile, but the lense will crack if banged around like I did with two, before getting a couple installed. I changed mounting locations on some of them after seeing this weakness in areas where feet could hit them, etc. UPDATE- Since my first order two years ago, I have ordered two more sets and of all outdoor equipment I have purchased , this has to be the best item. From durability, EACH ONE that I have bought, (now have 24 of them and want more!), STILL work good, with no discernable reduction in light output. I have most mounted in strategic locations on two screws that, while keeping them secure to post, rail, etc., are able to be lifted off and used as a portable light source! While they are not as bright as a regular flashlight, they are very useful! Of all the advantages of these Solar Lights, their main function is still the best thing about them: A solid light source at night that indeed, does work ALL night long! Only weakness, they will collect moisture on inside of lens in very wet conditions, but all work good and eventually dry out. Again 5+ stars. Great product!

Fantastic lights that illuminate wonderfully!

I've searched for a ling time to find long lasting bright solar lights. These small elegant lights come close to perfect. I didn't use them on deck steps, instead I placed them on my white PVC fence and on the sides of my house. One light placed at the top of each fence 'section' is perfect. I bought the 'warm white' color; they cast a beautiful glow/light on my garden, as well as give me just enough light to act aa a guide in my yard when day turns to night. I spaced out 4 of these lights along the side of my house, about 6 feet high. They perfectly light the path that leads to my backyard gate, and also make my garden directly below them, against the house, look amazing with the glow the light casts. I love these lights so much; I first bought one 8 oack, then bought 3 more packs of 8. The lights are small, about 4 inches wide and 3 inches tall, so can be used anywhere, especially in small spaces that you didn't even think needed some light. The lights come with hardware AND a generous amount of double sided tape; I only used the tape and have not had any problems the past month. Just make sure the area you adhere each light to is totally dry, when first hanging them. (Obviously, once hung, the lights and tape are not affected at all by rain/water.) Out of the 32 lights I purchased in all- 2 of them do not work. However, in each box, there is information provided on who to contact if any light/lights dont work. I am currently in the process of being reimbursed for the 2 lights. I'll be back with an update regarding this...Overall, anyone who purchases these lights will love them! They are sleek, compact & very bright. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the 2 lights that do not work. An Amazon win!

This is the second set of lights we purchased because they are the perfect illumination. The last set is still working over 5 yrs go and we wanted deck lights on the back porch also. Bright and if installed below the rail, illuminate the whole deck, but not in your eyes. Held up really good in the snow and rain.

These are really nice lights for the price for deck stairs or deck post lighting. They are very stylish and you would have to look very closely to discover that they are not stainless steel but a faux stainless plastic. The packaging is so clever for these lights with the box they come in. Each inner box contains two lights so don't think you were shorted six lights from your 12 ordered. We installed the lights with the screws included rather than the double-sided tape included. We made a template out of a thin piece of wood so you could center it under the stair tread and drill the holes in the same spot repeatedly. You could also use cardboard from the box to do this. We chose to mount them with screws because they can be removed for damage prevention when pressure washing the deck. They have been through a few serious storms here and have still worked flawlessly. We have only had them installed about two weeks so I will update if they start to die after a few months. Please note, these lights come in two temperatures of light. We ordered our first set in bright white and it didn't match the walkway lights and spotlights which were a warmer, more yellow light. We moved these to the horse fence coming down our country lane and bought another set in warm white to match the other lighting already installed. These throw a generous amount of light on the stairs or any other area you would mount them on. We are beyond pleased with these lights so far.

It won't last like they said. Very poor bulid quality on leds

Very cheap build quality , dont be fooled by the stars and ratings from the global market . I received a poor quality almost detached solar light that is surely not worth this amount . Disappointed

Estas luces no son para iluminar, su función es diferente. Las he comprado para señalar el camino de un jardín, y son ideales. Las ocho funcionan perfectamente y son muy sencillas de instalar. Al principio pensé en ponerlas en unas escaleras, para señalar los escalones pero finalmente las he puesto en un camino, y muy bien. Para ponerlas en escalones o en pared te entran unos tacos, no necesitas nada más que un taladro para ponerlas. La Luz no dura toda la noche pero dura las horas suficientes. Son geniales para jardines.

Le luci sono costruite con buoni materiali sono un pò più piccole rispetto a quelle che avevo comprato tempo fa e le ho messe in terrazzo da mia sorella fanno una luce ambient molto caratteristica. Buona la capacità di carica con sole e la durata della batteria. Ideale per chi non ha un impianto elettrico in giardino terrazzo, ed anche un risparmio sulla bolletta. These replaced my old rechargeable battery railing lights that were discoloured. These are great. They are sealed and plenty bright for side of handrail 30” up from steps. Good lighting. I put my own screws on them as the ones that come are cheap. The hardest part is aligning the 2 screws for each light exactly the correct distance because the screw heads go into back of lights and slide down into a track. I made a cardboard template with the 2 correct hole distances at the correct height to align them perfectly. Worked great. I dont see any rain water getting in them. Highly recommend.
