How do I properly cook this?

Usually with some BBQ sauce. Preheat oven to 300 F and cook for 30 min. Set the pens on a pan, given them enough spacing.

How long do these pens last. It will take a long time to use 12 pens. Do they dry up after a while?

Well for me I handwrite about 2 essays a week, filling up an entire College Ruled Looseleaf sheet (double sided) and it lasts about 12 months. So for me I think it would last quite a few years if I were to not lose it (I do though so it would last longer if I didn't lose them). So it mostly depends on how long you have them and how much you use them but I would say that each pen lasts about a year.

What is the difference between Ultra fine point, Fine point, and Extra fine point?

There is ultra fine point is .38mm extra fine is .5mm

Has anyone found pilot g2 ink refills that are cheaper than buying new g2 pens? i have not, which is a shame.

The refills seem to go for a little over a buck each, which can be a little cheaper than the pens, which seem to go from one to two bucks each depending on the packaging. One popular site sells most of the colors as refills which is much cheaper if you only want to use, say, the brown pens.
