I bought this a couple of days ago, it was delivered on time and in perfect packaging with everything as promised and with no instructions . ( Really how hard is it to figure this out ? ) I ordered three items at the same time and this is the one I was the most interested in trying out, so I did. I went out found me a four inch diameter limb and went to work on it . It took me all of about a minute to bring it down. I didn't use any pressure on the chain, I let the teeth do the work, after all isn't that what they are there for?, I thought so. ! I love that it was cutting on three sides at once, made the task so much faster and easier ! I do not foresee any issues with this product as long as it is kept oiled and sharpened, for those of you that like brute force, it's not needed here !. There are several pluses to this product there are no nasty smelly fumes from gas, healthy for the environment and you, it's quite, no kick back, so it's much safer than a traditional chainsaw, very light weight. A money saver for sure. Will work great for everyday uses, fire wood, trim jobs and in cases of emergency clean ups . Thanks for a wonderful product ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do more teeth make a better chainsaw? *by E***U on February 24, 2014* The answer is an emphatic yes!I've been backpacking for years. After hiking there's nothing better than a blazing campfire. And what you really need for a great campfire are good-sized logs. How often have you set a stubborn branch over a fire to burn it in half? Breaking these logs can be a chore. Pocket chainsaws make this work easier.I read a lot about pocket chainsaws. I compared two prominent models with real chainsaw teeth: The PockeTech and Chainmate. Both products were well made, easy to use, and didn’t bind. I cut a six inch diameter branch with both. The Chainmate took about 70 strokes to cut the branch. The PockeTech took only about 30 strokes--I repeated several times to be sure.In short, the PockeTech chainsaw cuts your work in half! Plus it comes with a sharpener. Downside: the likely imported PockeTech product costs a little more than its American-made counterpart. But I believe the price premium is worth paying for the decreased effort. This is a unique gift for people that love the outdoors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works very well - attached rope to cut high branches *by B***X on June 4, 2015* I was a bit skeptical that this would work well for trimming high branches... but I am pleasantly surprised. I also purchased 100 ft of nylon paracord rope, cut it in half and tied each piece to each strap on the hand chain. I used the included carry pouch as a throw weight by filling it with rocks and tying it to one end of the paracord. Worked well, though my aim is pretty terrible and took a few tries to get it over the intended target branches. Getting the cutting side of the chain on the branch is hit or miss, but was not too difficult to flip it over if needed. I cut small branches so far, maybe 3" diameter or so. I think thicker branches would be easier since the small ones would pinch the chain just before cutting all the way through. I learned to keep cutting aggressively until the branch falls to lessen the chance of the chain getting stuck. When stuck, I pulled with a lot of force to free it, and did not break the chain or the paracord. You do not need to stand directly under the branch, I stood a few feet to the side to avoid having to run out of the way at the last second. It cuts very quickly, and I have no doubt it can chew through some serious branches. I have my sights on a 6" diameter branch about 30ft long, and 30ft above the ground. But, it is directly above my above-ground pool. If I can figure out a way to safely get it secured so I can lower it down slowly... I will go for it.
