Quadro K420 - a pleasant surprise
This card was purchased specifically for getting me out of a jam with a PC running SolidWorks 2014. The previous graphics processor was a behemoth and aging "gaming" card - a GeForce 560i. When running Solidworks, the 560i was painfully slow and I had to set undesirable display options to coax it to come out and play. A real groaner, but to be fair this is an ancient gaming card not intended for CAD. The final straw was image stuttering and Windows 7 "time-outs" due to the 560i's sluggish performance. I think it was the inclusion of a 22MB surfaced component in an assembly that pushed the 560i beyond its capabilities. The tiny half-height Quadro K420 is a delight. It enables CAD operation on my middling PC. Even when used with a very modest two core CPU (Intel G3258), the K420 produces results that are akin to my stalwart M6500 Dell workstation. Image rotation and manipulation are very fast, there is no annoying stuttering, and RealView Graphics functions perfectly. At around one hundred bucks, this little card is a real bargain in my opinion. The only minor stuttering I could detect was an occasional delay when initially rotating a complex model with RealView turned on. For what it is worth, the out-of-box tactile experience is a winner as well. The diminutive little board looks for all the world like a miniaturized Quadro 2000 at first glance. That said, PNY did not spare any expense on the build quality (as far as I can tell), packaging, documentation, nor accessories. All were presented with the same care and attention to detail that one sees with much more costly PNY graphics adapters, which I have also installed. Well done indeed. Folks at PNY: some of us do notice these things! In my specific situation, and with a 25MB assembly comprising a handful of small parts and one really big one - this graphics adapter is a stellar performer. I can only assume it would start to slow down with relatively larger assemblies, but I didn't have the opportunity to test that theory. Tip: Be sure to squeeze the thumb grip when removing the included HDMI / DVI cable.

Not useable for 4k use
Works well. I had to change the bracket to the full size one. To do that unscrew from the middle and then also unscrew the two screws on the bracket itself. Other thing I noticed is that if you already have a geforce card and have the latest nvidia drivers, you do not need to update anything - it just works. Just plug it in and you are all set. Only problem I had is that these cards do not work with an older (1 year old) geforce card already in the system. With one of these and one geforce, one monitor was blurry. With two of these and geforce, the geforce stopped working as per windows and was disabled. For some reason, the radeon card does not have such issues and works fine. A uninstall - reboot and reinstall of all nvidia products fixed the above issue. Do not buy one or two of these cards to drive a 4k display. It needs 2GB per monitor and atleast EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+, Whisper Silent Cooling w/ Free Installed Backplate Graphics Card 04G-P4-3967-KR. That works well. With these cards, it would hang and stutter from time to time. And I had to change the bracket to full size one. I have two of these driving two 4K Dell monitors. Works really well. Do not buy the slightly cheaper non "K" card like 410 - it is older technology, 64 bit and lesser RAM.

easy. Running under Linux (Debian stretch
Lived up to the description/specs. Changing to the full height clip: easy. Running under Linux (Debian stretch, because it needs the new drivers). It seems lm_sensors does not see the device, so no hardware monitoring of card.

Good card - reasonable price
My 4 year old PC was "hanging" once in awhile, and sometimes the video would just go black, so I checked it out (I'm a retired computer principal engineer). The ATI Radeon video seemed to be the problem, so I checked with the PC manufacturer & they suggested this one as a replacement since the original card is obsolete now. Looked on Amazon and it was considerably less money, so I bought it. It's been in my PC for several months now and it works flawlessly. Seems like the colors are a bit better too. It isn't the highest performing video you can get, but it serves my purposes adequately - I design custom patterns for my wife's long-arm quilting machine and play Everquest II occasionally.

Just works.
Well, I had to spend a lot of time messing around with drivers and chatting with glorious nVidia support, and ended up just upgrading to Windows 10 to make the drivers work -- but that was entirely my particular system screw-up. I tried the card on other computers and a clean OS and it just worked. The card itself is great and now feeds 3 huge monitors without any trouble.

Great replacement video card for windows 10 workstations using AutoCad ...
Great replacement video card for windows 10 workstations using AutoCad or Revit. While these things aren't going to be super fast for rendering models, they do work great for everyday use. Also they support Remote-FX in Hyper-V as well as Remote Desktop Connection (Windows 10 only) so remote workers will thank you when they have to draft from home.
