Works well.
Low cost Ball Valve with compression sleeve fitting for copper pipe. Not difficult to install in a new or retrofit plumbing. Make sure the end of the pipe is cut straight, not scraped up, clean, and no deformation or it will be difficult to put the nut/compression ring on or it won't ever seal. Make sure to push the pipe all the way in to the valve until it bottoms out before sliding the sleeve down and tighten the nut to seal. Use two adjustable end wrenches, one to hold the body and the other one to turn the nut. You can even squeeze the two together like pliers.

Works Great, for rolled or standard, straight half inch
Works, as it should. Nice, tight seal. Easy to install. And, they generally out last knob style valves. As knob style valves corrode, the stem will drop down inside, stopping water flow. Ball valve style, is the way to go. Everything has its draw backs. But, this valve style, is my preference.

Very easy to install on 1/2" ID copper tubing. No mess as with solder type. reasonable price.
