Viewmaster: wonderful nostalgic gift
A good price for what is in the set. I had a used one given to me almost 55 years ago. It had at least 20 reels which I enjoyed so much. This viewmaster has 2 reels with it. Unfortunately the viewer rarely works. It does not change the photos when the lever is pushed down. The quality is not the same from 50 years ago. Cheap. I will purchase a vintage viewer which is made better. The 2 reels are ok. This was a gift for my granddaughter. Since it did not work well she lost interest in it.

My kid loves it
All these negative reviews make no sense. Yes this isn’t like the one we had as kids. Sure it’s not made of pure iron and covered in toxic lead paint, but it works and it’s light enough for a 2.5 year old to use. My son can take out the reels and replace them himself, lift it up to his head, and use the lever to change images. He was very amused by this product. In addition, while it is plastic .. he has dropped it 4-5 times on to my hardwood floor and it still functions and has no damage. I recommend this if you’re buying it for kids. The only con is it only comes with two reels and your kids gonna get over it fast

It's Pretty Good....
As others have said, this is not the sturdy one like we knew and loved in the late 1970's, but it's ok. You do have to push the handle down twice sometimes to advance the pictures. The pictures still look great and I think it's a good purchase. Probably won't hold up if a 2 year old slings it across the room though. :)

Super awesome throwback
Invented in the 1920s 1930s theyre soooo old yet still very amusing if you like 3d photography. You can use it too view vintage reels you can find online. I got two of these because theyre awesome and im a child at heart and one for my neice.

Great nostalgic Christmas gift
I had one of these when I was 4 and my mother just purchased this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! The pictures are so clear and beautiful, its easy for her to use and she loves seeing the animals. Its just like I remembered! Comes with 2 discs and I will be purchasing more discs for her!

Fun nostalgic toy!
Bought this for a 4 year old boy. He really liked it! Needs to be in a well lit area or someplace you can look towards a light source for the pictures to show up the best. If not then they’re kind of dark. But this is just like the ones I played with back in the early 90’s. So it could also be a cool nostalgic, throwback gift! Can’t beat it for the price, would recommend.
