works= we had need of 5 pill alarms and this one has 8 of them. Follow directions and be sure to press mode button after setting up (bit fussy to set up but works ) Has worked great for use. Only con : the function to press any button and shut off alarm don't work out the box (on this unit). We are fine with that. At least the price is good and it has the number of alarms we needed. So far this has been a good pill alarm.....Suggest getting one= YES....

This reminder device has helped us immensely. Some have had difficulties setting it up, which I can understand after having done so. But what made it very easy for me (and I set up 4 alarms on the first try) was the Set-up Video available by the Seller on the Amazon item's page. I watched and stopped the video at every step with the device in hand. If I didn't understand a step, I backed up the video and watched it again. I never looked at the printed instructions that came with the device, but I am definitely saving them for future reference. Working GREAT for us: 8am, 12noon, 4pm, and 8pm. Alarm lasts 60 seconds, and is an appropriate sound level. Can be silenced by pressing the middle button. Very grateful to have this device.

Do not waste your money or time with this pill reminder unless you live for frustration. The process for setting time and alarms is tedious at best. Once operational, merely touching the wrong button can change your presets or render your alarms inoperative. Extremely frustrating to enter your settings due to the fact that the buttons tend to stick and not allow inputs. The one I purchased is currently residing in the trash bin after an unscheduled rapid disassembly upon landing; please see photo of the results of URD.

Very simple to set up, can set up to 8 alarms. Buttons are easy to operate, display easy to read, should be relatively easy to use even for the less technically inclined. After ordering, I realized that one major feature that would be nice to have is a setting for daylight savings time adjustment. This would require a toggle switch, a shift setting or setting a date as well but I can't imagine that would be too costly to add to whatever computer chip is being used.

This little gadget does the job. I've had it several months now and it's still functioning properly and is easy on the battery life. It's a bit complicated to program. Probably more complicated than it needs to be. It's also a bit larger in size than I would prefer and heavier than I would prefer, but I haven't seen much available in the way of alternatives on the market at the moment, so this is what I'm stuck with if I want to make sure I take my pills on time.

This timer now has clear directions (as they point out, in English) for setting the clock and for setting each pill reminder (from one to eight times a day), and a choice of 12 hour or 24 hour time display. Between chimes to remind of taking a pill or pills, it also shows the regular clock time in between. It has a little fold-out stand for setting it on a table, which folds flat for carrying it in your pocket. I tried the vibrating wrist band, which is very cool, but my illness makes my eyes blurry so the large numbers on this despite it's pocket size are great for me. The only down side on this new one is that the battery didn't work, but it was very easy to put in a new AA battery (the battery door is very easy to open and slide back in place after insertion of a new battery). Very helpful as a pill reminder esp for an old person with many pills like me.

Great item, solves the medication problem. The only thing that was a little annoying was that if you locked the keys to keep from accidently changing the times, you also could not silence the alarm. Otherwise, great item!!!!

It took several minutes and 3 tries to get it set up -- which I'm ok with because, even with instructions, I am so not tech oriented. But I got it, and it is SO VERY helpful - no longer have to be a clock-watcher just to be sure of getting meds on time. What a great 'tool' to have for anyone taking meds more than 1 or 2 times a day.

Praktisch und zuverlässig

Hi Amazon, The product was defective and the LCD screen did not function properly after 3 days of use. Please see the attached picture. The LCD should read 10.22 The buttons when depressed get stuck, and stay depressed. This product should be removed from the shelf. Regards Tan Beng Cheng

I ordered this for my mother because she has to take Parkinsons medication every 3 hours which of course is easy to forget. The timer is an absolute blessing for her. It was easy for me to set it up and my only complaint is that its also easy to switch one of the alarms off accidentally. Its simple enough for most people to reset just not so much for a technologically challenged elder person in her 80's. Other than that, its a great little device and highly recommended for anyone who has to take Parkinsons meds.

È molto pratico e facile da programmare. Ha una calamita per attaccarlo, per esempio al frigorifero, ha il supporto per appoggiarlo ed è così piccolo che può stare in tasca. La suoneria è udibile anche da persone con problemi di udito. Un piccolo grande assistente.
