Ideal in many areas of the garden including slopes and for ground cover. Position: This heather needs an open site in well-drained, fertile, acidic soil in full sun. Flowering time: August – September Mature Height/Spread: 45cm (18in) x 60cm (24in) Plant care: Mulch if snow cover is not consistent. Prune annually in spring by cutting back flowered shoots to within an inch of previous year's growth.
